I was in a soloq game and a vayne asked if zyra was mid, and as someone who plays zyra, I of course go "why wouldn't she?" I know she is good at support but why do people think she doesn't mid? I feel like she was initially made for mid lane/

She absolutely massacred everything/everyone mid, very easily too.
Thus, she was gutted like 5 times until she was eventually forced to a support-only role.

Optimization / build is a large part of viability, most champions have a possibility to be viable in a role.
The more busted something is, the easier it can be in any role. This is mistaken as non-viability to champions that are not busted and plenty need harder work to be competitive in a role.
Except low elo Twitch Bot. Low elo Twitch Bot is cancer just like Blue Ezreal.

AttackOnTeemos1 votesI pref Zyra support over Annie Support (cause we all know annie was a mid laner at point in time.) She has poke, snares, and decent CC. Just play her full ap with a sightstone and I don't see the issue.
