Fiora has a better early game, has sustain and scales better, jax isnt even better against squishies because fiora gets so many movespeed steroids + her 2s cd Q means she gets in range and 4 shots the squishy (or tank, or anyone in the game with any build). I think she got into a spot where her early game is stronger than it should be (riot did buff it again been a bit), so that could use a nerf.

And Udyr is just Udyr. Jax can dodge his only CC and damage while smashing his face in.

Thats the point, shes better than jax in lane and late game, jax is only stronger when hes on his 1 or 2 item power spikes.

Not sure about her being stronger than him late. Might need to see a video since Jax's armor buff from ult negates a lot of her damage and healing, as well as his E.

Unless her ult and passive gives her GW or reduces Jax's damage, he's still going to stand still and destroy her. She can dash around all she wants, Jax's Counterstrike negates her vital procs long enough for him to whack her quite a few times before she even gets to hit him.

as far as i understand, counterstrike allows him to block her from triggering vitals.

pretty sure a full build jax can demolish a full build fiora because of this.

i dont know much about the matchup, but from my experiences, fiora becomes increasingly hard to play the more people are involved in a fight, while jax is overall a reliable frontliner as soon as he scales. his strength in a teamfight isnt as dependent on something difficult as getting 4 vitals off.

problem with fiora is, all you have to do is flash or otherwise retreat into your team where she cant follow, to counter her ult. thats half her power budget gone.

jax seems less hit or miss when it comes to skimishes and teamfights.

All he neds is tri force and some stacks. His new ult lets him clobber jax since jax cant build pen items and nasus gets both free armor, mr, and hp.

Wither is known to make auto reliant champs rip their hair out. Nasus can augment hi cripple further by building randuins and/or frozen heart on top of what his wter provides.

Nasus is the only champion in the game who definitely beats Jax one on one late game, yeah.

Tryndamere and Master Yi can potentially do it if they outplay him. Probably Vayne as well.

lol? both are splitpushers. thats the meat of the potato. Jax cannot split push agaainst a tank that sits under tower. often time he can't kill them because Jax has no true damage or penetration or % hp damage in his kit. its all flat on ap scaling that he doesn't build.

Fiora is both better at splitpushing and team fighting. and at 1v1s.

Fiora is better at splitpushing, but Jax is better at team fighting. AOE stun combined with a direct ticket to the enemy back line, much tankier, and has equal or higher burst damage.

Oh, and Jax is much better at 1v1s lolwtf.

Depends whether or not Fiora gets the Riposte stun off, if she does she can probably kill Jax in that stun, with a full damage build.

If she doesn't, then it's iffy. If she doesn't hit it at all, then Jax wins.

As someone who actually plays in Plat and Diamond what you're saying isn't true. Jax crushes Fiora late game; as far as the rest of the match is concerned it all depends on if Fiora can correct riposte Jax's E. If the Jax is smart and uses E's lower CD, the two second it has vs the 0.75 second Fiora has; Jax will win.

Played against a Fiora as Jax one week ago and I don't entirely agree. Laning phase is basically baiting her Riposte with your E (many people don't know that you can activate your stun after 1 second you don't need to wait entire duration) and she apparently didn't know or if she's smarter you can force it sometimes with your burst or if you're fast enough you can ignore her W entirely (her parry lasts 0.75 second while you can use your stun after 1 second up to 2 seconds). Also keep in mind that her W CD is longer than your E and you can sidestep her parry and then engage again after a while (sidestepping is easier when you have phage). You can harass her with your WQ combo or after level 6 auto attack on minion then Q aa W, it works well when she just used her Q because she won't be able to gapclose to you and Riposte your stun when you're disengaging. After 6 you can bait her ult and then disengage with ward Q (but you need turret nearby because she will definitely chase you) and when it wears off you can come back with your rotation and beat her easily.

You can't duel her during mid game though because she has uper hand with Black Cleaver and Hydra but after you finish your Trinity and Gunblade she loses (it was satisfying to see her doing some dancing with Q and flash, doing some AA resets and still lose to Jax that was standing still whole the time). After that you should complete some tanky items like GA, Frozen Mallet etc. and from that point onwards she loses 1v1 terribly. When we both had full builds outcome of 1v1 was that she died and I had still 50% of my HP.

people are comparing the final build, of course Jax is better final build he's late game however, early game he's below average while Fiora get's infinite dashes, heavy damage, and poke Fiora is beyond better in every single way early game, and is easily fed since it's next to impossible to get away from her without wasting a flash

Here's the thing. A Fiora that has fallen behind is literally a useless lump, you keep her around the team, but a super minion would be doing more.

A Jax that has fallen behind can at least ult + stun for some kind of utility while he climbs back up. Jax has a better worst-case scenario.
