Riven just hit 47% WR

Last 2 patches have been complete hell for her, boneplate, tabi and everything just completely fucked her, her only viable setup is abusing broken tank runes that will get also nerfed, she'll need buffs at this point.

I'm sorry, but I have exactly 0 sympathy for anyone who plays riven.

Just because she's the biggest crush that I've had on a fictional character in like, ever, does not mean I don't despise her with every fiber of my being.

She and Darius are the two reasons why I refuse to play top lane anymore.

Yup.

It's 100% personal. The amount of sympathy I give someone is entirely personal. I'm not on the riot balance team, I don't claim to be better than the balance team, and I certainly don't want to be on the balance team.

I'm allowed to make stuff personal.

So you just don't have what it takes to play top lane and couldn't pass the entry level exam? That's not a problem with the champion.

I could take time out of my life to sit down, learn how to play against them, and greatly improve my ability to fight them.

That doesn't mean I find them fun to fight. I'd rather not and just go to a different lane where champions are nowhere near as frustrating (IMO). AKA botlane.

She's at a 47% win rate in Bronze.

She's at a 50% overall win rate in Diamond+, with people that have some experience on her sitting at a solid 55% win rate.

As one of League's most mechanically intense (and by that, I mean animation canceling) champs, she cannot be good in low elos without being overpowered in higher ones.

Nope, shes at 47.96% in plat + last time i checked.

And at those elos riven is played exclusively by mains/otps, (riven is not a champ a top laner just randomly picks to play in ranked in diamond), just the fact shes at roughly 48% there shows on how unrewarding it is to main riven now, meanwhile in the current patch a first time sion has an over 8% higher WR on average while requiring 1/10th of the skill to play.

tbh lots of idiots play riven unpracticed in rank and that definiitely deflates the win rate. I mean what percentage of people have really mastered this champion mechanically lol. It's too easy to screw up on her for riot to be concerned about buffing her due to win rate cuz most people are just not good at riven. The ones who are are insane though.

She was at 50~51% 3 patches ago, her pickrate didnt change (in fact it went down by 2% so ur argument makes even less sense).

Also almost everyone that plays riven in ranked is a one trick or main, and riven average plat + wr is that bad atm, probably means shes terrilbe now.

dude ive seen alot of nasus sion and maokai mains randomly picking riven in my games on main and its plat 2. its not fun :/

For some reason the most common rune set on her is unsealed spellbook even though aftershock is better and easier to use on her (Adrian Riven goes aftershock most often)

Its her only viable set now, and aftershock is getting nerfed.

The problem with it is that while its OP it doesnt help her snowball to carry games, and next patch not even that she'll have.

She's good if the player's good, and I honestly think that's pretty good for the game. So a level 1 can't just pick her up and carry every game.

Is Boneplate really hurting her that bad? I honestly didn't expect that.

Would love to see Tabi get a nerf though. My Swifties got a nerf back in the day because too many people were using them, so I'd love to see these brown pieces of crap get a bit of their power knocked off.
