Armor item that Lowers the crit CHANCE of enemies.

Title.

We need an item to lower the actual critical strike chance of a player.

40% on Yasuo with one item is at least a little fair. 35% on Tryndamere even if he forgets to buy is NOT.

Every crit item was given more chance, and another item was introduced. You could counter it by buying another one, if you really want 100% in exchange for anything else.

Are... Are you serious?

It does things to weaken autos and crits.

Literally everything that can be done

EXCEPT WHAT I SAID.

No, if they make that the RNG nightmare will come back. All they have to do is raise omen's crit damage reduct by 10% so it's 20%

No, if they do that it'll still be completely fair.

Increased crit chance on every item from this patch means that if you build even one of the old builds for ADC, you've got 40% more crit chance than before. The introduction of more items that give crit means that you can just buy another to counter this item, if you really feel like you need 100%.

nah I don't want the champs who scale damage with crit chance to gain more damage cause you do know even if you lower a champ's stats stuff that scale off of non-ap/ad stay the same right? (So champs who scale more damage based on crit chance would actually see this as a huge and super heavy buff)

So yea it would straight up ruin the game although I'd be happy cait would get her power spike sooner.

Actually... No. Every single thing you just said is wrong.

If you lower crit chance, things that scale with crit chance will have their damage lowered while the effect is active.

No they wouldn't if that was the case reducing AS would also increase the CD for stuff that scale off AS which it doesn't (Yasuo's Q, Lucian's Old ulti scaling)

Things that reduce armor/mr would reduce things that scale off armor/mr which it doesn't. (Galio's passive, Rammus' Passive)

Only things that are affected by reduction are ap/ad ratios and damage done to a target, in-kit bonuses won't be affects (Ie. Cait's passive, quinn's passive, ashe's passive)

It wouldn't do anything to champs with guaranteed crit

This would however affect things like (Ie. Tryndamere's passive, Yasuo's passive) But if it's done yasuo will earn max crit with 1 item and the boards want yasuo's head enough as it is even if he's well designed and easy to deal with. While Tryn's passive would negate it allowing him to get 100% from 2 items (Althogh tryn needs a rework he's pretty outdated)

Edit: Ok league's board bugged and reposted this 4 times lol.....

I dislike it because it is essentially an item that is mandatory for tanks, yet sub-optimal.

  1. It helps against no ADs except AD carries.
  2. However since most damage that tanks take are from ADCs or sometimes sustained damage APs, it is still a mandatory item for tanking.

So.. Every AD.

There's no item that exists that specifically lowers ability physical damage, but it ALL lowers that.

No, we don't need an item like that.

If we still need itemization to reduce the effectiveness of crits, it should affect the crits specifically, like Randuin's Omen.

The counter to RNG should not itself be more RNG. It needs to be a consistent "If, then" counter.
