i am playing mid lane, on a champ that is REALLY good at pushing the wave.

every lane is losing, including me but because my champ so good at pushing the wave i got their first tower

now my lane opponent can still easily 1v1 me and he froze our lane by his tier 2 tower. all lanes are losing so we have no deep wards

i cant push forward because he will leave his tower and kill be before i reach the safety of mine i also cant push forward because i would get easily ganked

i am already getting denied CS So should i just gank another lane until he pushes my wave toward my tower where i can farm? meanwhile my lane opponent is getting more CS and an even bigger lead.

what is the proper thing to do in this situation

When its frozen at their tower, thats a free pass to roam. Its always better to be proactive and try to make a play rather than sitting middle waiting to get ganked

If you don't feel confident pushing out behind first turret, because of no vision. Get some wards and try to pressure it. Roam top or bot, or, lastly, probably the last thing you should do, is take wolves/wraiths until the lane is back in favor of you, and freeze it too. Make him extend for farm.

Sounds like a good time to roam, if you can't stay in your lane without pushing out too far and dying, either practice freezing the lane, (which is admittedly harder on some champs than others, but sometimes its worth losing a little cs by not using your waveclear and just doing the best you can to farm and keep the lane there) or else try to roam to where your losing lane is pushed in and take some pressure off or maybe get a kill for your team. Just don't give up on your lane completely, or you will suddenly find its been pushed back to your inhib while you weren't watching.

play a lane dominant champion and stomp the laner, then you can choose between pressuring mid towers or roaming for free kills

Yes.

Either way you wouldn't be able to farm properly if they freeze right, so rush to another lane and support them in the meantime.

If your lane is pushed and you can't contest farm, ward. Not just your lane bushes but buy pinks (two) to deny enemy vision and obtain vision for yourself. Place one pink in the river or just barely into their jungle and if you see a ward destroy it. If you dont keep walking and put deeper wards (because they dont know you're there). ward progressively deeper into their jungle so you can find their jungler. Once you've found the jungler roam and gank the other side of the map.

It all begins with wards.
