Darius uses Q, then W, then BC has shred away armor...
except then he does magical bleed, and true damage ult. What is the new BC helping? His auto attacks? Why are people so excited over this? Darius's kit would need a rework to properly work with the new BC. Darius likes high flat AD, on hit physical damage to scale with his armor penetration, and that's it. More armor pen is pretty useless for him.
GloriousKaiser3 votesWell it does give some good sticking power. He doesn't have to buy Trinity or Fuehrer boots. Also it's cool that it gives better CDR and Health.
They're trying to make it a fighters item. Aren't they? Darius doesn't just like flat damage, he likes sustained fights. The tankier stats, better CDR, and MS on hit contribute to offset his major kiting weakness.
Drackolus1 votesEvery way you can get bleed stacks involves physical damage - q, w, and autos. You want to get 5 before you ult. Not to mention your q hits aoes, so black cleavering multiple enemies makes it easier for your carry to destroy their tanks. You basically can become a free last whisper.

SS Enforcer1 votesDarius main here. I use bc most of my games, and at first i had the exact same problems with building bc when i saw Dyrus doing it. But then i realized, it's simply just for the better dueling power if you don't have your ult up. Or when you don't want to waste your ult and you just want to kill someone, because after all, before level 16, your ult is precious and you should not waste it. It also gives some sustained damage to darius because of the armor shred and the cd reduction, which in the tank meta is a nice little thing.
The new bc will be better because of two things: the 20% cd reduction, and the health increase. Nowadays (in the past week or two) i started to build sunfire cape first on darius, and with the bc changes, i won't need to do that, because it's simply tankier than it was before.
More armor pen is pretty useless for him.
