Can we discuss "S" grades and 20 min games

just last game i got an "S-" for this game http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2235411400/207008136?tab=overview

now if this had been a 30+ min game... i can accurately seeing this game being only an S-

but this game lasted 22 min

they did NOT surrender... we actually DESTROYED thier nexus in that time

i had 6 kills, 8 assists, zero deaths, 6 wards

i gave my mid laner my own blue buff 3 times and i gave him THIERS twice 51 of my jungle mobs and 15 of theirs from counter jungling we took 2 dragons EVERY turret and all 3 inhibs

i honestly don't know what i could have done to do better... there WEREN'T any more jungle camps to kill except herald, which i ignored because we didn't need it

so i couldn't have improved my jungle creep score. i actually started taking his camps because i ran out of mine to take

i ganked every lane.. i cleared my ENTIRE jungle AND theirs because i had to wait for my own camps to respawn, i took 2 dragons i assisted in 9 tower kills and all 3 inhib kills

i got 6 kills 8 assits zero deaths.

what am i supposed to do to get an "S" or an "S+" DELAY the game??? NOT kill the nexus? just farm up free kills?

does riot want to me to BM them to get a higher grade?

this is stupid...

i feel the grades are very accurate past 35 min but when u get an early win you frankly CAN'T get an S+ if you win early. this needs to be changed

"Ignored the Rift herald"... so right there is an objective that you did not participate in because you didn't feel like you needed it. Not taking objectives can be punishable, and taking them is usually better than not taking them... especially if they are free.

6 wards isn't very good. That's 1 ward every almost 4 minutes. That means you're sitting on two charges most of the time.

0 pink wards. 0 wards destroyed. Vision denial (aka killing their wards) is also important.

Don't call a grading scale stupid because you can't think of ways to get better and don't understand it/the entirety of the game...

It looks like you did not even take Baron... That's two extremely important objectives right there that you ignored... and it sounds like they were 100% free.

of course we didnt take baron... byt the time it spawned we were in thier base taking thier inhibs.. wtf did we need to do a baron for..

were are currently killing thier inhibs... and you want me to go "oh look baron spawned, let's go LEAVE their base and go kill baron"?? and your saying that riot's system should penalize me for not making that call? because it was "FREE".. yeah.. their BASE was FREE TOO.

i understand i didn't place a pink ward, but like i said.. we didn't NEED very much vision. NO ONE of their team even ONCE made it out to our half of the map

so all i had to ward early was thier jungle and river bushes, which the rest of my team was already doing.. so i only really used my wards in thier jungle.

i don't see a point in palcing a ward in an area i ALREADY have vision on... or an area i KNOW the enemy isn't.

yes vision denial is important.. and so is killing their wards. but I'm not goign to STOP and kill their wards when i can kill THEM instead or i can jungle.

there are a bunch of things in this game that are important objectives.. but you you are already crazy ahead... there are MORE important things to do in order to win.

im not goign to waste an enitre min and have 1 or two of my teammtes help me with killing rift herald for a buff NO ONE NEEDS that would be a waste.

im not going to make a baron call when we already destroyed all 3 of their inhib turrets and we are already in those base by the time baron even spawns.

certain objectives you take are designed to make you stronger so u can win the game either easier or faster.

well if you already DESTROYING them, goign out of your way to go kill the objectives (like herald or baron) would be stupid.

i don't need to place a ward in an area i have vision... im not goign to bother KILLING a ward in an area where i don't CARE if they see me.

sure they saw me coming.. they STILL DIED.. if i just randomly stop to take the time to kill a ward just because i saw it they would have escaped...

the grading system is fine for a NORMAL length game... but IF the game is OVER in 20 min.. either by surrender or by an actual win. then the game needs to take into account that idk.. maybe we didnt KILL baron becuase were were already in thier base at 20 min.

maybe we didnt want to waste 1 min of top mid and jungler to take herald when we could take spend the time to push kill thier inner turrets.

NOT doing an objective when its open doesn't mean your playing wrong if that objective has no value and you could easily take an valuable objective instead.

Then continue to not get S and S+ games when you stomp I guess. Btw I couldn't read your hostile wall of text. I got like 2 sentences in and pretty much got the gist because it was clear you didn't actually want advice on how to get better grades. Rather this post was more of a chance to whine about how you think the grading system is stupid.

Believe it or not I've seen complete stomps get turned on the winning side because they ignored objectives... or the winning team didn't respect the added damage end towers can bring... or some of their teammates kept going BM because they were 'ahead and invincible' and just got picked apart constantly until the game was more tied up.

EDIT: A more comprehend able way (maybe idk actually for you) to think about getting better grades is "Win smarter not harder".
