Ever noticed how Riot never replies to threads about shen?

Shen is under powered and needs minor rework.

He's got a buff on the PBE. Next patch should be out before January. I think next year might be exaggerating a bit.

I came here to these boards because I found out my Shen was horrible nerfed in his early game that he cannot keep up with other champions. Some ninja that boast about not being caught by light. What a joke. This Shen needs a rework if his mechanic's call upon the nerf bat hitting him until he's no longer a good pick vs any champion in the game.

Thanks so much, I love you and i love riot. Reducing E cost will be a major impact on his gameplay. Still think he can be made a little more interesting though and their is room for that on has his W.

Well, one thing at a time. It wouldn't be Riot if buffs were bigger than nerfs.

I do think that when that new tank split pushing item comes out, that will probably help him too. Something to replace the pushing power that Ionic Spark used to give him will be nice.

Ty. It was just a fact really, you can find riot With detailed information on all talking about changes and why the do stuff. You can't find any of that for shen, just a huge history of nerf patches. He is even in the top 5 Lol nerfs on youtube. Since they removed the shield he gets when ulting someone he has been knocked down to a support role.

I say this as someone who hates shen because of his sustain coupled with taunt and global pressure making it too easy for him to passively farm out lanes against people that can't harass under tower from range:

I thought it was hilarious how riot thought shen was actually good and was all "just wait for worlds" and then worlds was a lulu and ryze fest.

ill agree shen isn't what he used to be and riot like always riot gone overboard again. Come on shen was getting nerfed when people where hardly playing him anymore. Just like what they are going to do to sona soon with her so called "hidden power" after several months.

"Our feeling is that Sona's currently pretty under the radar power wise and is actually really strong at the moment. That's not indicative of the rework failing though. Reworks are done to fix fundamental problems with how a champion plays (e.g. lack of counterplay or insufficient distinguishing features from other champions of the the same role). Power by contrast's adjustable with simpler numbers changes, and isn't inherently linked with how healthy for the game a champion is (it's possible to have a really unhealthy champion that has well balanced numbers or a very healthy champion with unbalanced numbers)."

I just like how healthy champions can be consider unbalanced. To me it is or it isn't and to change a healthy champion is what makes it unbalance for good or bad

But I just have to say i don't think riot meant that shen will be played in LCS. They meant they wont global ban him from being picked, because they got his ult to work properly. They where overly enthusiastic about it being fixed and probably caused the confusion.
