For the love of God people please take the time to go learn new champs and reworks before you come to ranked with them. Stop making your teams suffer.
A person going 1/12/2 kda with 4k damage in 22 min is just completely un fun to play with.
Riot will not make it punishable but we all know it should not be allowed....you put your team at a disadvantage if you are using a champ you dont know how to use.
Professor Ward1 votesUpvoted cause your right, but at this point if you consider ranked to have any higher integrity than Norms/arams/flex/TT than its your own fault.
Ranked queue is not taken seriously and MANY players queue up for it 100% of the time. Playing no differently than they would in any other mode.
A player that 100%'s ranked games is going to have to pick pyke in ranked first time as thats all they play. And theres a TON of these people.
VvVVvV1 votesTrue...there are people that only play ranked. Im one of them. I only play ranked 5's solo.......hell ive only played 4 flex games and i did that solo just to get the clash ticket. But I at least have enough common sense and respect for other players to not go into a ranked game with a champ that I do not play or know how they work. If I want to play that champ i will go and play them in norms a few times.......then depending how I do ill decide then if I want to keep learning them or just move on. It would just make no sense for me to go into a ranked game, putting my team at a disadvantage from the moment i lock in just from not even knowing the champ.
Hethalean1 votesI honestly don't care what caused someone to do bad. First time, like 50 other reasons someone can do poorly. I don't care. They did poorly. Every game has 1 person who did the worst. At silver 4, I know that there is an above average amount of reasons why you'll lose which really drowns out all of those 'first time' people. That's why I don't agree with your statement of 'we ALL know it should not be allowed.' You just haven't done your leg work of asking outside your echo chamber to see people's opinions.

Hethalean1 votesSo? a quick glypse of your history shows that you aren't too good with Zyra, but you still play her despite losing 12 of your last 20 games with a smattering of quite a bit of 'feeding' going on in it.
shrugs It's a new champion. It's a type of champion that when it falls behind it feeds a lot, and some people only play ranked. I just focus on what I can do, and how I can play better with or without someone on my team feeding. You can cry all you want about how poorly other people play in your games, but you can only do anything about yourself.

You say im not that good with Zyra but yet I have a %54 win rate with her which is higher than the league wide average of %53 and that's after losing 12 of my last 20 with her as you pointed out. So doing above average is not good according to you, ok makes sense.
Hethalean1 votesLook at your past 7 days. Win rates go up and down with buffs, changes, and meta shifts. So your overall doing better than the current win rate just means you might have abused her when she was stronger in the meta. However in this meta, you're not doing well. You're also playing her mid while comparing your win rate to her support.

1st of all I am playing her mid AND support.
2nd, I am not comparing my win rate with just the support win rate....im comparing mine with both her mid win rate and her support win rate. They are both %53......her mid is %53.1 and her support is %53.5.
Hethalean1 votesWell I went down the first 10 and inspected your items, but it was all mid. Then until 15 minutes ago that support game wasn't on top. As for mid win rate, I check champion.gg where she doesn't even had a mid role listed.
So what is your point here exactly? You have quite a few games where you feed, and feed hard. Are you saying it's better for you to feed because your average win rate is higher than the average Zyra. Are you ignoring when you feed hard or are you making board posts here about what you failed at and like 'Man we should not even allow this in ranked!' or what? Despite that you have quite a few games where you have abysmal KDAs of not even approaching 1? Idk it just seems arbitrary to claim that Pyke's 'ruining' of one game is any different than yours because he's inexperienced. People can think 'oh but it's more likely'. That's just a cop out.
Actually being experienced with a champoin and then these quite a few games where you go 2/11 or 1/9 recently much worse, because you should do better. So like I said... the ways that other people can fail in a game are myriad and varying. All you can do is focus on why you fail and fail hard (as you do) and improve that. It's silly to focus on one thing because plenty of people ignore normals and for good reason. I'm constantly facing Diamonds and high plats in my normals and in many of those games I'm rofl stomped and get very little chance to experience a new champion.
