Correct me if I'm wrong

Talent in LoL isn't how well you play, it's how much you can neutralize your trolls. That's still talent, but it's not the ostensible talent we all think of it as.

... What? Do you even know what "talent" is? The word you are looking for is "skill", but even then you are horribly wrong.

The chances you would know more than I do about the English language, video game mechanics, or general gaming theory is really slim. So lose the attitude.

no, its being exceptionally good on a Micro (mechanic) and Macro (map pressure) level and knowing how to excert your dominance and finish a game.

that all translates into exactly what makes it to high-ELO the ''OTPs'' you see are mechanically gifted but mostly not gifted above that which is why very few OTP make it to challenger constantly due to there OTP's balance situations, the real regular top players always make it as they are simply gifted.

for example a lot of the pro's have 150-200iq levels (above average) and have reflexes 0.75s slower than a jet-fights pilot (this has been tested)

I'm assuming by "neutralize your trolls" you mean preventing yourself from being tilted by intentional feeders and flamers.

Just consider that there are still some toxic people in high elo, and some comparatively non-toxic people in low elo. It's safe to assume that toxic people are more vulnerable to being trolled, and that at least some of the people in the second group are more resistant to it. Just the fact that the people in the first group climbed higher is indicative that skill is ultimately what gets you to where you are.

Sure, being resistant to tilt helps a lot, but it's not going to carry you to challenger by itself.

To put it more simply, I think what I'm saying is there's a phantom, additional skill level rarely taken into account that allows Diamond players to be diamond players, and Gold to be gold.

A common phrase I see a lot of folks say (including myself) is that Bronze players don't lack skill, they lack good decision making. I'd agree with that. So the problem isn't their skill level, it's there ability to neutralize trolls/bad players/afks. I feel like I'm circling my point and I can't pounce on it.

You can't just be good. You have to play above the counter-weight forces on your team, and that's a skill we rarely talk about in terms of tactics. Everyone knows you have to carry, but I rarely see videos/commentaries on the tactics to do it.

So to refine the OP: It's not how good you are, it's how much you compensate for the flavor of jerk on your team.
