Lower que times is NOT the only reason for autofill

i am sick and tried of people saying this. i absolutely LOVE autofill and it has NOTHING to do with que times.. in fact my Que times are LONGER with autofill than they were in season 6 without it

because all your people HATE support so much that you refuse to support once every 5-7 games or so, you completely ignore the fact that SOME people are support secondaries.. as a support secondary i noticed i was ALWAYS given support now in season 6... i did a test.. i wanted to see how many games i would get put support on before it gave me my primary role (jungle) after thirty eight games... i gave up and called the results... the answer was NEVER... NOT ONCE!!! and after those THIRTY EIGHT GAMES in a row being given support i took it off as my secondary role. i didn't want to play support again for about 3 months after that and guess what that does?? it make the remaining people who support secondary get it more often... so they take it off.. and so on and so forth in a downward spiral, and THIS above all else is what increase que times to crazy levels.

because people like myself who actually LIKE support and are perfectly willing to support half the games they are in TOOK IT OFF AS A ROLE in season 6 because you would NEVER get your primary role.

i was NOT given a primary and a secondary role option.

to ANY person willing to support secondary or fill secondary

jungle support adc support mid support top support jugnle fill adc fill mid fill top fill

ANYONE who choose any of those options was ALWAYS given support.

and by the end of season 6 the VAST majority of us took OFF support as an option because

while we are willing to support half the time.. we are NOT willing to support EVERY game... its called "secondary" for a REASON.

now with autofill.. my que time have generally increased from 0-20 seconds to 30 seconds to 2.5 min a HUGE increase... but guess what.. i GET my primary role, i get it at LEAST half the time and even when i do get it and i get someone who cant support.. i am PERFECTLY willing to swap with them.. because i KNOW i am going to get my primary role again.

to me autofill has make ranked and draft SOOO much better

and it had NOTHING to due with que times, which were in fact made WORSE for me

PS: i don't give a crap if you are willing to play your secondary roles 38 games in a row, your secondary role isn't support.
