Laning against Azir with a melee champion is like trying to juggle and dodge bullets while playing

I've found the opposite to be true.

If Azir commits all of his soldiers to charging at you, you can pass them and attack the vulnerable Azir.

I haven't fought many Azirs but when I do, they seem to summon 2 soldiers and charge them at me when they want to take me out.

When that happens during my play as Talon, I just E on him and do my work since he just lost his main damage.

"Indeed, Azir is insanely powerful against those poor melee champions." puts sunglasses on and pretends to read a newspaper "o.O" stealth "Ehm... excuse me, I need to look for my spear..." hops away

Just saying, as a Volibear player, I've had a lot worse than Azir.

Or you can fight me and be smart and only have 1 soldier out and saving 1 at all times. I just harass with 1 and keep 1 for escaping or trading or picking up a kill. I build RoA and bring clarity to make sure I have enough mana to do this.

Most Azir's should be smart enough to never pull out a soldier until lv 3, unless being ganked or you need some serious cs. If you're melee vs him, just bounce around and draw out his soldiers, then sit on him. Or play Ahri/Kassadin, bye bye Azir.

He's easy to play around in lane since all his spells are avoidable. Just stay safe. If you can catch him he's either dead or chunked really badly.

just melee? In my experience if you're not playing a lane bully he just drops his soldier behind your casters, and if you try to CS at all ever he dashes it on to you. that shit only costs 40 mana ffs, and lasts almost as long as the recharge

i play azir. poking people out like that it pretty fun. the thing is he probably wont kill you early unless you're dumb and let him or if he has runes for azir

I generally find Azir is impossible to lane against right now.

I find it easier on a melee champ than a ranged one. Someone like Fizz has much better chances than someone like Ahri.
