Why is diamond gain/loss for lp so . at your disadvantage.

It kinda feels like "you can't lose a game or it's like you've deleted two of your wins"

I'm at a 52% wr. I gain about 14 or so lp a win. I lose 20 per loss. So converniently my first loss in d4 is a 4v5 :^) fun times xdd However i was curious as to what suddenly shifted. I know plat and diamond are different but i went from +22/-14 to +14/-20 without my wr changing

Nothing shifted. They just decided to do another MMR reset in patch 9.8 without announcing it, but this time they did it accordingly to your last season mmr. So basically, you will be able to climb up to your last season rank and not a single division higher this season or atleast until they undo it. AKA if you are higher rank u have shitty lp gains, if lower decent lp gains :) u know what im talking about
