Just no inherent steroid. Essentially nothing but unbuffed autos as Q is statistically pretty weak. Has literally felt terrible to play since they nerfed Q and R after season 4.

On topic, I don't think Jinx is that bad, people couldn't be one-tricking her to high elo if she was. Challenger/Pro play, that's a different scenario or even game entirely.

You can't really wait for her late game power up when a Vayne, Ez, or MF can spike with just 1 item when Jinx needs at least 3. Plus Jinx will naturally suffer in an environment where the games are shorter. Any champion can be one-tricked in high elo, doesn't mean they aren't weak.

"Any champion can be one-tricked in high elo, doesn't mean they aren't weak." Not so much, and even if so, they wouldn't be performing as they did. And even if they are weak, the fact that they are capable of being one-tricked in high elo means their weaknesses are inconsequential for the vast majority of the player base.
Actually, I already have played her and it confirms my statement. But I am not going to rely on and base my thoughts on my experiences and will defer to, say, high elo players, Korean players and such.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Jinx can deal a lot more aoe damage with her rockets and 
during teamfights. Tristana's only aoe (other than passive) is her bomb, which does a lot of burst but is not consistent. This makes her better for 1v1s but not as good for teamfights. Also, Jinx actually has more range which allows her to safely sit in the backline more easily. Her global ultimate is useful if you're good with it.
AstroFerrari 1 votesI agree with everything you said. Jinx just doesn't do enough damage to keep up with other ADCs are basically all points of the game. I sometimes find myself not taking a 2nd zeal item because I just can't keep up unless I really outplay the enemy ADC.

Jinx is struggling because her lane phase is actually fair. She sucks in lane and can only AFK farm because when she turns on she becomes very powerful. I lose lane a ton but if I get my three items I turn into a monster.
Jinx isn't bad, she's actually balanced for a hyper carry. Shit early game, insane late game.
sarii fox1 votesA good jinx can tear up the rift late game. One thing I like about her is that you don't really need to get "fed" to do well late game as long as you don't feed. Her style is to just sit in the backline and dish out damage during team fights, which she still does very well.

sarii fox1 votesFirst of all my comment is 5 months old. Obviously the meta has changed since then. Also I'm not hard stuck silver 4, although I suppose I could be, I just don't play a lot of Ranked. Everything I said about jinx, aside from maybe that you don't need to get fed (hence the meta has changed), is true. Listing out the top 5 champions is pointless because it doesn't prove that Jinx isn't bad, she's just not as good as the current top 5. That doesn't make her a shit champion.
