The mana changes to mages hold them handicap even at lvl 18 if they don't buy mana items

Before, if you didn't buy any mana items, mana became a non issue as you became closer to lvl 18. But now, just farming at lvl 18 with no mana items is a hassle. I can only clear about 4-5 waves as a mage before I run out of mana, forcing me to buy one of the three mana itemsitem 3003 item 3030 item 3285 .

I honestly feel that mana should be an issue in the early game, but mid to late game it the issue should go away as its more of a hassle than management of a resource.

nerf mage spells heavily if you want mana to not matter

even bruisers have mana issues w/o a mana item or m. regen

I'm going to have to disagree.

Personally, I think mana should be a restriction throughout the whole game, both early, mid, and late game.

Yes, it can be considered a "hassle" or "annoying", but it adds more skill expression, separating the good Mages that have their mana management under control, from the bad Mages that just spam spells as they come off cooldown.

It also creates for more interactivity for your lane opponent, giving them the opportunity to keep a close eye on your mana pool and punish you if you can't manage it properly. If you never run out of mana, the only opportunities they have to engage will be to watch your cooldowns.

And, this shouldn't be a secret, but Mage cooldowns (once they hit 40%) are not that high.
