With just Devourer and Guinsoos he was immortal and could 1v3 then immediately 1v2 then soloed baron... He wasnt even fed... just got Sated and we were done.

You can see for yourself that he was underfed and me and Volibear were both sufficiently fed at the point he started being able to solo us.

I was extremely fed and so was our Volibear, he 1v2'd us and then killed the remaining 3 ppl on our team in a 1v3, went to Solo Baron then went and took our mid turrets. AT 2 KILLS 3 DEATHS WITH ONLY GUINSOOS AND DEVOURER.

Xin did not need buffs he needed a very small update on his abilities to balance out his more feast or famine like characteristics. Giving him more healing and guaranteed crits was not the way to buff him, those are buffs in areas where he already has sufficient power. His damage and sustain were not his weakness and did not need to be buffed. Now he is a god damn unkillable 3 shotting monster...

KVbqbFsC8e1 votesWhat they should do, is do something about Sated Dev, an item that has been broken since it came out. Notice that you could replace Xin here with pretty much any other sated jungler, and they'd 3v1 too.

Looking at the match on na.op.gg, Jungle Xin Zhao managed to out-CS most of every laner except your Caitlyn and their Vladimir.
While he may not have been fed from kills at that point in time, it is quite likely that he both out-farmed and out-leveled most people in the game. Not only would have have been able to afford more items than most of your team, he'd have had an advantage in base-stats too.

Regardless, Xin is pretty messed up right now. He got buffed HARD for no reason. His heal scales with AD now!? What the actual fuck? I mean, do you not see people complaining about Riven's shield that scales with AD? That shit's temporary. A heal doesn't just go away in a few seconds.
But that's enough ranting. Xin has been known as Win Zhou pretty much since release... I mean, that's not always the sign of an overpowered champion, being thought of as "freelo" by a lot of the community (see Katarina and Master Yi), but Xin will hit like a truck if he builds AD, Tank, Bruiser, AP... doesn't matter. His knockup is also pretty silly. I wasn't exactly happy with where he was at before, but what do I know, I'm bronze? I think the wide majority of the community (if not all of the community) would agree that Xin did not need buffed, from bronze to challenger. Well, except for all the Xin mains out there.

Devourer has the same problem as feral flare; it's too abusable and too safe, while giving massive bonuses for just sitting in the jungle and farming. I presume that after Xin fed, he disappeared into the jungle, for the most part and probably just power farmed. Was it the right thing to do for Xin at the time? Absolutely. Sated Devourer gives Xin a huge power spike, and getting it sated pretty much won him the game.
But clearly, Devourer is the problem, and I think Riot knows that. Eventually, they'll realize that they just made another feral flare, and will probably tweak it or remove it. When a jungler just disappears, only to show up with Sated Devourer and just winning the game, that's pretty ridiculous.
But then again, what do I know? I'm just bronze. :/
