I love Ivern, and I loved his whole character when I first saw him. But I don't play jungle.

Is it viable to play him bot lane with chilling smite? I've only tried this once (with a friend who adcs so I wouldn't screw someone else over). I did decent, didn't feed. Got an early red from his passive and just poked and bullied the enemy down, but we eneded up losing anyway because the top laner got fed and started teleporting/roaming bot non-stop. I love his brushes and his root and his slowing shield (Daisy is a bit underwhelming imo) and he's just an all around baller imo. But can he actually be played bot viably?

Yes he can though he is much better as a jungler for obvious reasons. I don't think you should grab smite though, I'd just stick with Exhaust or maybe Ignite depending on situations. He works very well with Caitlyn since you can place a bush in the middle of your lane on her and Cait's passive works well with being in a bush.
