Ninja Tabi is OVERBUILT by squishies

I think reducing aa damage and keeping the ridiculous the amount of armour that it gives. 30. is absurd why? who gives a shit about AA reduction as a squishie. different from 600 crit to 540 is not much really. what really matters is that the 30 armor negates TWO lethality items worth of armor pen for most of the game until about level 14.

TLDR: The Armor Tabi gives isn't nearly as important for bruisers or tanks as squishies. which makes no sense really because its allowing ad carries and mages and any squish champion thats not supposed to build it. build it and get a significant damage reduction against burst heroes.

Really?

Any pair of boots should be, ideally, viable on every class of champion. Two of them are obviously really specific (zerkers and sorc) but the rest all provide generalist benefits that any champion can take advantage of.

Are you saying that Mercs and Tabi should ONLY be built on frontliner champs because they provide defensive stats?

I don't think a pair of boots thats intended for burisers or tank should be better on squishies than tanks because the amount of flat armor damage reduction against casters they get is absurd.

What makes you think Tabi is intended for Fighters and Tanks?

why wouldn't it be when berserker is made for carries and the ap pen boots are meant for mages?

whats left for tanks and bruisers especially?

ok so lets say there is an squishy ap mage mid vs an ad assassin

Lux vs Talon

and lets say lux gets item 3047 and item 3157 how should talon build should he keep going for lethality and be nullified or get item 3071 item 3036 and melt her armor ?

if lux chose ninja tabs then she has less magic pen by not having sorc shoes which would hinder her damage output.

everything has a trade off... of not only what you build but when you build it for it to matter and be efficient in game

Considering that lethality itself is a broken mechanic and considering that AP have no Pen options of their own (and the horribly funny mention that tabis reduces 2 lethality items. Mercs with 25 MR basically is enough to counter the only 2 MR pen items in the game outside of void) I think tabis is in a fine spot. In fact, Riot should create a new AP/armor item that blocks AD damage like hex.
