Can Riot admit that removing the 20% crit and giving cdr/attack speed to trinity was a mistake?
Giving trinity from 10% to 20% cdr and 15% to 40% attack speed in exchange for the removal of 20% crit was probably one of league's biggest design mistakes.
Nerf black cleaver just because specific champions abuse it while hurting champions that are forced to build it.
Look at darius and garen. Both black cleaver users. Now they built trinity because the armor pen is dog shit/takes too long to have a meaningful effect or everyone has no armor so it has little value anymore.
It's just rush triniy force meta for a lot of champions.
I wish League had more diverse builds instead of the same thing. And I wish people didn't rejoice when this trinity change happened. It hurt champions like Hecarim despie his winrate going up a lot.
To do well with Hecarim, you had to 1. be good and/or 2. have cdr level blues. But a lot of people didn't do that. But then you give that by default by giving it to trinity force that it made Hecarim get nerfed despite him not actually being a problem but rather a trend. For me, that 20% crit was a huge part of my playstyle with Hecarim and not having it just made Hecarim into a cheesy champion instead of a late game scaling champion.
I know people may disagree with me (Especially that Hecarim part), but I'm speaking as a high level player who has mained Hecarim since he came out and have seen his ups and "downs" in the game.
to have easy access to crit. In fact riot prefers champs not dabbling with crit: it's either 100% or 0%. Giving 25% to one item means those champs would be more RNG based in one on one trades if they got a crit TF. Most players hate that.
