Zephyr: Less attack speed - but more movement speed?
Zephyr (current):
+25 attack damage
+50% attack speed
+10% movement speed
+10% cooldown reduction
Passive UNIQUE PASSIVE – TENACITY: The duration of stuns, slows, taunts, fears, silences, blinds, polymorphs, and immobilizes are reduced by 35%.
Thoughts: Zeyphyr seem like a solid mix of stats. It's whole concept is build around speed, be it attackspeed, movement speed, "spellcasting speed" (CDR) and negating speed (mobility)-handicaps.
While many stats of this item seem interesting one is prevailing - attackspeed. 50% attackspeed really is a lot. Sadly to say - attackspeed is a stat which is not only widely available by items further focussed on it, but also a stats which is far more important for a certain category of champions: Ranged ones. Looking at the stats this might be a good item for champiosn like Shyvana who otherwise build tanky - but the attackspeed simply goes to waste in a vast majority of cases. At the same time few ranged champions consider this item useful since they either prefer crit over CDR (Ccarries) don't need the AD (Kayle / Teemo).
I feel like shifting the attackspeed from this item into another stats might greatly improve the viablity of this item.
Suggestion:
In order to stay true with the "speed-concept" of Zephyr I would suggest shifting the attackspeed into movement speed.
Possibly changing the build path away form Stinger
by doing so.
I won't name any numbers here, but ask what you guys think about the general idea behind this suggestion. So - thoughts?
