JG items prevent champs from getting the first item they really want....

For example, Blue kayn really want duskblade first, but the jg item prevents him from getting it. Same with Diana, she really wants narshors first, but is stuck with this AP item thats not optimal for her.

Am I the only one who gets a little annoyed when I cant buy the item the champ really need first?

It'd mean anyone could abuse it and get extra jungle XP, regen rates, etc.

You do realize that that'd mean just getting summoner 11 would result in 1) a need for the jungle items to be cheaper which 2) would result in the cost differential incentivizing laners to take jungle items. For example, adcs could reliably use item 1412 on their generic builds, because of the high AD value, 10% CDR, and the on hit damage while the smite is on? Atm that costs 2625. If you took away all its utility, the result would be a cost of maybe 1600g. Any adc would jump right on that.

Unless ofc, you're arguing junglers should have no jungle exclusive items and be cookie cutters.

Smite isn't a bad lane spell. There's just no immediate use for it since laners generally stay in lane. Most laners would like to have it post 6 though.

You dont need to buy the jungle item. You can skip it and by duskblade you know.

You can build any item you want first as the jungler. The only requirement to have before is hunters machete or Talisman

I generally don't finish jungle items on most junglers. First times are generally:

Udyr item 3077 Warwick Shyvana item 3057 Poppy Evelynn item 3115

These junglers usually do better with these starts, because they sustain well enough to not need a boosted jungle item.

I do have several who start out Cinderhulk like Ornn Sion mainly, because it works so well with their kit.

I would item 3057 Nidalee , but she tends to do better when you start a generic item 1410 , because her mana gets sucked so hard, and heals are needed to keep HP up enough

If you're wondering about the Nashor's Eve.... it clears MUCH faster than starting a Lich bane, and has 20% CDR which reduces the per cast duration of her Q drastically, making both her autos faster, do more damage, and her Q more spammable.
