Remember when botrk was reworked to be "adc friendly" and give adcs a better 1 item power spike?

Now they are pretty much making it complete trash tier for adcs, meanwhile they are also buffing almost every tank in the game on the same patch AND also buffing tabi...

Meanwhile LW items are still complete overnerfed dogshit, well played riot games your tank bias couldnt be worse, lets go back to the 5~6 tanks per game meta because everyone thought that shit was fun right?

when this shitty item wasn't balanced for years because of adcs everytime?

i remember clearly now with 50% of the damage on adcs we might be able to balance bork for everyone because an adc reaching a 6 slot jinx damage with one item is not balanced at all

It's not about nerfing ADCs in general, but it's about the fact that the Marksman class tend to break things.

They broke Sterak's Gage.

They broke Lethality.

They broke BortK.

And it's understandable, because range is a massive advantage. It's not just for Lucian - BortK is a must-buy on EVERY ADC right now, even Ashe, who's never built it before IIRC.

We need these sort of conditional effects so that melee classes can make up for the shortcoming of being melee.

Bork should be a response item (HP shred), not a core item.

I don't know how the fuck it became core. I don't know why this is a thing, or why they wanted this.

but people don't realize its gonna make ad melees stronger too cuz they can get tankier and then get this item and then adcs don't have an effective tool vs a bruiser tank renekton who has bork...

but when I said it would make ad melees stronger I get downvoted cuz they don't understand how nerfing it for one set of champs who needed the benefits of it it empowers the champs that it don't change for

yeah BORK nerfs are pretty dumb, they don't fix anything and create unpleasant situations, not counting that the entire adc class is depending on that single item in order to not be dogshit right now, also they want to make it attack only and not on-hit, so lucian will go back in the dumpster since he can't do lucian stuff but this doesn't address at all the problem of ad carries such as tristana, vayne, jinx (which is basically unplayable unless blade comes into play and few others i don't remember right now...)

the cleaver nerfs were more than enough, and statikk and RFC are still bad items despite riot trying to shove them down our throats, no need to ruin blade further.

And thinking that the whole situation could be fixed with a zhonya buff (maybe revert it to 120 AP) (or maybe a new ap item)
