Punny title.

from what I understand though, he's AP based, so he's like Diana. My guess is actually going to be item 3115 and item 3151 with item 3116 thrown in.

Wait, he scales off AP?

from what I understand, most all his abilities do magic damage, and his ult will certainly scale off of AP.

I mean, his AA modifier applies both SPELL EFFECTS AND ON-HITS. So that means, Liandry's burn, Rylai's slow, Lichbane Proc, Nashor's AA bonus, and any spell vamp/lifesteal that he has.

Nah there's no way he's going to be AP. Auto-attacking assassins never go AP unless they're expoiting something (Tryndamere MasterYi). Diana is the only exception because she's also a burst Mage with AP scaling on her autos.

he has crap tons of utility, and his ult will scale with AP, his E applies both on-hits and spell effects, and his W being bonus damage against low HP targets, My guess is AP. they even said his damage and ratios are going to be absolute crap, so building sources of flat damage or flat penetration will work best.

Lower ratios than other assassins =/= absolute crap ratios. Even _ if_ his ult scaled with AP he still needs to be able to deal damage to be an assassin - just like Ashe as an ADC. If he relies on attack speed and auto-attacks, AD is really the only choice.

OH LOOK, ALL HIS ABILITIES SCALE WITH AP!!!! I WAS RIGHT, HAHAHAHAHA.

He is most likely AP, actually. He even has a quote triggered when he buys Rabadon's Death cap
