I play Veigar. I do consistently, and he is kind of the only mid laner I play anymore, as I have moved more towards playing tanks and fighters at the top lane and in the jungle. That being said, I DO NOT PLAY RANKED. So if you are one of those people who ignores what people have to say based on not playing ranked, then you don't need to be here, and need to leave. That being said, hopefully those dicks are gone. Anyway, so I play Veigar a lot. And I like playing Veigar. Final Boss is my favorite skin, only rivaled by the Dunkmaster. But, when I look at these boards, I see nothing but complaints. Some are of Mordekaiser, (who I also play sometimes but shhh) but most of are Veigar. So... they're changing his Event Horizon so you actually have to think ahead to position it? I mean... what is the issue exactly? I realize that ranked is dominated by people like Zed, or others with high mobility, and I guess I can see where it might actually impact you. That being said, have any of you actually played the Veigar changes on PBE? I'm assuming many have not, and are instead just complaining for the sake of complaining. I, for one, am looking forward to these changes. I'm happier knowing that playing Veigar will now be even more rewarding, and when I win against the enemy laner, I can feel good about myself. Please consider what I have said, before instantly downvoting this comment and posting your reply in a spittle of rum and anger.

I have played him on PBE. It turns Veigar into rock-paper-scissors. That is to say, who wins mid lane is decided at champion select. If Veigar faces an immobile mage, he stomps all over them. If Veigar faces LB, Zed, Kass, Fizz, Yasuo, Riven, or Ahri (which together constitute a pretty large chunk of mid lane picks), he'll get stomped on.

I LOVE the Q change. I don't care about the W change, but I'll take it. The R change was in response to him having more AP than before (I did some testing and it appears that the extra AP is due to a bug which I promptly reported, so after fixing the bug I imagine his R change will be reverted) so I can live with it. The E change though is the problem. As above, the champions with mobility will absolutely destroy him because he can no longer stun them. Yes, the E needed to be something that wasn't a guaranteed instant stun, but it certainly did not need a 0.75 second delay with bright warning particles.
