I will Tell to Everyone how S2 WAS
-top lane diversity: Everyone always criticize it because it was "league of bruisers" if you look at it, there were a lot of bruisers because in s2 most top lane champions were bruisers. (Irelia,Darius, nidalee,Jax,warwick,Renekton,Udyr, olaf,Jarvan,Garen,Gangplank,Wukong,Yorick,Shen) All of them were viable; picked competitively (Except Garen because he was nerfed 1 patch after his rework and xin zhao because his rework came so late) due to a good item set (with end, atma, warmog, frozen mallet, triforce). But there weren't only bruisers, someone remember rumble, kennen, vladimir, malphite, jayce, tryndamere, singed? Bruisers were a majority because there weren't a lot of non bruisers top laner. Then riot nerfed 1 by 1 everyone until now we went from 15+ champion picked to irelia, lissandra, gnar, maokai mostly picked top.
jungle: Do i even need to explain? support jungler were as viable as bruisers we had mundo, lee, nocturne, udyr;maokai, nautilus, rammus, skarner played as support tank, amumu alistar, cho gat, volibear. Even shaco was viable. The weakness of this season was: lvl 2 gank from support jungler, carry jungler didn't exist due to low income, Alistar was really really broken. Now? vi,rek sai,j4,lee.
Mid: Weakness of this season was that assassins weren't viable except ahri because they fell so hard late game and early armor/mr screwed them. that's why fizz or talon couldn't kill tanks. And ryze was a terrible design
ADC: terrible, only corki/graves/ezreal were the only viable ADC after kog/cait/vayne nerf
Support: can't comment it since i didn't play it. Only thing that i can say is that support had no items.
Conclusion? if you want to play to a better game, you need to revert the champions and items to s2 with the following changes:
-keep the alistar jungle nerf -Fixe Assassins -Fixe Support -Fixe ADC -same with carry junglers -Rework ryze -fixe early jungler ganks -delete every champions created from s2 to now because it caused: mobility imbalance, ressource imbalance, and range vs mele imbalance.
