I remember, a long time ago (talking season 3), there were mentions of Shaco tweaks. Are there any plans for him at all anymore? I remember someone saying that he's on the backburner with some other old champions. Is he still in the lines for something, maybe not Sion level but maybe Miss Fortune?

There was a possible rework being tested, but Riot decided against releasing it. They probably would have ruined Shaco for all of his current players, judging by many of their recent "reworks." I'm glad he's been left alone, though I wish they would give his clone some of the tweaks it's been needing for years.

I'm not asking for game changing changes. Maybe clean up his appearance a bit and some minor tweaks in his kit.

All changes are "game-changing" when it comes to Shaco. His winrate has been right around 50% across all elos for quite some time, and his plentiful counterplay balances out the unique "trickiness" of his kit. There's very little room, if any, for change. Riot wanted to remove his E's permaslow, which might be workable, but how would they compensate him without making him too powerful or too weak? How would they keep him balanced in addition to keeping the "feel" of his kit intact for Shaco players? Apparently, Riot's balance team couldn't answer those questions, so they left well enough alone (for once).

He already received a texture update. He's not a very high priority for the VU team because, though his model is old, he's still not terrible-looking or unable to "represent himself" by any means. Pizza-ish feet and and an abundance of sharp angles actually work very well for his character. You could compare him to Singed— a visual update is unnecessary. It could be very successful in terms of how well players receive it, but it's not nearly as important as VUs for Taric, Poppy, Urgot, Yorick, etc.

What would you change? Again, all I want them to do to him balance-wise is to fix his clone (clean up the AI, make it display what buffs are on Shaco, perhaps randomize where the clone appears when Shaco ults).
