infernal dragon ... what if we reverse it...

granted the dragon would have to be re-named as "infernal" wouldn't fit anymore..

but what if instead of adding 8% damage damage.. it gave 8% damage reduction?

i mean instead of ADDING to damage creep.. it would help STOP it.

that would be so busted. Its 8% of bonus AD/AP, not 8% damage.

I think you mean to say. what if it was +8% of bonus armor/MR. In which case, meh whatever. Probably wouldn't have any significant effect on the game.

I'd argue it'd be way worse, as people have a hard enough time killing snowballed tanks nowadays.

If they really wanted to make it "less attractive", I'd much rather see a buff to the other dragons (like halving the ocean bonuses but making combat not affect them, giving +5 extra movement speed to cloud, and keeping mountain where it is currently at).

But how many teams have multiple tanks.

In game wise I'd say the "average" per team is usually 1-2. In competitive I'd say the average is closer to 3 as you'll often have a tank top/jg paired with the occasional galio mid or alistar support.

No. It just makes squishy people more durable than they should be.

What if they made a "Iron Drake", which gives a similar defensive buff.

Isn't ocean already kinda a defensive dragon though?

what if we left it as it was and just focused on other more pressing matters?
