i'm really tired of climbing to bronze 4 and then demoting to bronze 5 again, I climbed to silver 5 earlier this season, but i got tilted and now i can't redo it, i feel like the more games you have in bronze the harder it is to get out. i feel like im the only one doing something in my team and is it supposed to be a team game : look at my op.gg : https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=drakkath this is disheartening, seriously i am thinking of getting a smurf to get out of this hell i don't feel like i will be able to achieve my dreams of gold+ on this account :(

My advice is as follows:

  1. Don't try to get a ton of kills. It might seem counter-intuitive, but being greedy for kills will only work against you long-term. Tower dives gone wrong, ganks/counterganks, etc. can all mess you up and destroy any potential lead.

  2. Work on CSing, especially in mid lane. At the same time as you're going for less kills, try to get more CS. Do your best to stay at least 8 CS/min. It'll give you the gold income you need to hit your power spikes, and if your enemies aren't good at CSing, you can get a huge advantage. That brings us to number 3.

  3. Don't die as much. Easier said than done, obviously, but practice not dying. Give up a turret if you have to, give up CS, recall early. Whatever you have to do, don't die.

  4. Run with a lead. If you have a lead, press the advantage as much as you can. Do not tower dive unless you know where everyone on their team is and you're sure you can do it. That also means don't ever dive someone with a lot of CC. But also, if you're ahead in lane by 1 large item component or more (Zeal, BF Sword, Overly Large Rod, etc.), don't play passively; move forward in lane, poke, deny them CS.

  5. Prioritize objectives. Don't focus on CS or kills if you know you can get an objective. Rift Herald, Dragon, turrets, Baron. That said, kills can make it a lot easier to take objectives. You don't want to try to take Baron if all 5 of the enemies are alive and more than 2 are outside of your vision. At the very least, kill their jungler first.

Overall, the thing you must get through your head is, it isn't your allies' fault in a lot of your games. Don't overestimate your abilities. It's far better, in fact, to underestimate your skill than to overestimate. Don't try for flashy plays.

Good luck in climbing! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Youve played 1,000 ranked games this season and you're still in low bronze. You need to not focus so much on the climbing aspect, and focus on the getting better at the game part. The climbing will come if you progressively get better at the game. I took my smurf (this account) from Bronze 1 to Gold 1 this season with a 60% win rate, and i havent touched ranked in like 2 months. It is possible to climb. Your avg cs/10 min could be much better. Stick to a few champs you play well, that can carry. Focus on objectives. Steal buffs, take drag, get rift herald, get baron. Objectives win games. The team that gets rift herald wins like 75% of the time. So prioritize it.

actually i don't think i would struggle so much in bronze 1 if i would be here again, this a bronze elo where people kinda know what they are doing, i know about the objectives and that's what i try to focus on the most but the problem in bronze 4 and 5 is that often the 2 other lanes or the jungler lose so hard that's it's almost impossible to carry, yeah i can go pretty easily on win streaks but whenever i win to much in a row i start getting a forced loss streak that return me to bronze 5, this thing really suck and make me hate the game sometime

One common misconception is that ppl climb by going on win streaks. But actually you climb by playing 1,000 games with a 55%+ win rate. Forget about your teammates. Thats the best advice i ever got. You cannot control what your teammates do, no matter how hard you try to. All you can do is focus on your own gameplay, and try to consistently get better. Once you accept that fact, youll have an easier time. Teammates will always lose you a game here and there, but they aren't responsible for your 49% winrate over 1,000 games. Its easy to blame your team and talk about a forced loss streak, but the only person that can control your ability to climb is yourself. How do you think any higher elo player does a bronze to diamond series?? Theyre able to climb out of bronze really easily. If you were actually a Gold+ player you could easily get out of bronze and stay out. So again, your gameplay is your issue. Get better at all aspects of the game. Once you accept that only you can change it, then youll climb. Stop focusing on your team and ask yourself what you can do to carry harder to make up for your teams mistakes.

You could cs better, especially as a jungler. Also sometimes you feed, which I know, only seems like a few games for x and y reasons, but remember the feeding teammates you get have those games too. Also when you get ahead and kills, make sure youre taking objectives otherwise the kills really don't matter.

You don't.

You're stuck in Bronze forever.

It's not so bad. I made this cool VIP club here and you qualify to join my LCS team Bronzie. If you agree to join my team it will be you and me. After that, it's big time championships. Everyone, WATCH OUT FOR TEAM BRONZIE!

Seems very strange you went B4 to Silver V in 1 month then back to B5 the next month and now you're talking about getting a smurf to boost you...

the thing is, i taken it easy when i achieved silver and then i started losing and losing and then i saw the yellow warning that i was about to get demoted so i started panicking and each lose tilted me more so i kept playing when tilted until i fell back to bronze v, this really sucked, and now, i,m more ready than ever for silver

Yellow warning?

Th3 Rift Hero1 votes

yes when you are about to be demoted from a tier there is a yellow triangle near your rank on profile that says that for now you are shielded but you lost too many games to maintain your current rank, you can fix this by improving your skill level and when you are 2 or 3 games from demotion there is a red triangle that says that you are critically close from demotion

Eunson1 votes

Hmm, never seen it before. Is it on your profile or on like your ranked tree with the other people

Th3 Rift Hero1 votes

profile, youre the only one to see it tho
