Cleanse is really good against Ignite (good choice if you suspect that the enemy team will have a lot of Ignites).
But Exhaust will prevent 40% of the damage that Zed deals with his Deathmark (better choice if Zed is the only big threat on the enemy team).

45 armor for 1100G you can have by 6 minutes.
It completely negates Duskblade, Youmuu's, and Sudden Impact.
On top of this, you also have barrier + resolve if you take it Zed will never kill you unless you're completely caught in a 1v1 from tower.

Glory971 votesThere isn't really much you can do, if the enemy champion is a hard counter to yours. (Let's assume that: Just completly outskill them isn't an option available xD)
But you can try to not get into such a bad matchup. As a sololaner, try to get lastpick, ask your teammates if you can first pick for them, so that you have a late pick position. And if you're forced to blindpick your matchup, pick something extremly save, that doesn't have too many bad matchups.
For example 
, or something that is very good at roaming, so that you can do something elsewhere on the map

FéliXXX1 votesdafuq? then u r playing th wrong way xerath bully zed in lane zed can only trade every 22 seconds meanwhile u have a lot of range and lower cds and if he trades he wont get his scape so hes ez to gank u will always have lane priority and u can help ur jungler easily bying armor early deny armor pen stacking and you can run the pots strategy or resolve so you wont die btw you can rush zhonyas making him useless even in midgame when you are way more usefull and you wont have mana problems if you play that champ well edit: i forgot is always eassier to say zeds an op champ than learn a bit about the game sry
