I keep losing when i try my fucking soul out to win every game and when i dont even deserve to lose, game is such in a shitty state rn it's disgusting. And to add to it, i can have a fucking 10 win streak and i still win 12 lp in gold 2 and keep losing to gold 4 only to gain 16 a win, and its even worse when youre at 0 lp and tank more your mmr every lose you get. It's so fucking disgusting that this kind of game can happen 2 times in a row :

It's obvious riot rig the matchmaker so it try to force streaks : hey, let's make this player feel good about himself so he keep playing to climb and purchasing skins since he have fun, give him a win streak! Oh, now he won enough, if he reach the rank he want he wont play anymore and wont purchase anymore skins, time to make him lose all the elo he won so he keep playing to regain what he lost! Oh if he keep losing he will just quit the game and won't purchase skins anymore, give him a win streak back! Oh be sure he don't get the rank he want also so he keep being addicted to gambling! Just rinse and repeat, here's a loyal playerbase!

Feel free to suggest what system riot would use to rig MM.

Its not going to be an Elo or MMR system thou as they mathematically will collapse if you prevent naturally occurring results.

And, a player who rubber bands outside of their class intervals is expected to streak to an extent in MMR. So just a Weak K variable would naturally result in some streak behavior. One reason why I strongly disagree with the idea of using "streaks" To add a MMR adjustment modifier. It increases the rate of change to a point Mismatches occur rapidly.

If you want to implement Bayesian inference into a MMR system it has to be 1 directional because anybody can play to lose.

MMR is a balance, so order is not really relevant apart from if K variable slowdown. Put it into any order you want but regardless of how you mix them up or the order any combination of +1+1+1+1+1-1-1-1 is the same end result and could be simplified as 5-3=2.

You nailed it. Riot has this system because it keep you playing. Its not fair and it is unfun. But Riot does not care about that. Just that you play and buy skins.

You have a sub-50% win rate after more than 1700 ranked games in just this season. The issue is not the system or your teammates.

It is because matchmaking is inclined more towards giving games faster than giving fairer games and simple solution I follow is to dodge whenever I find a player who is +/-2 ranks from mine. From my games I hardly had any game where so many players were +2 ranks from mine and always had so many players -2 ranks from me. I don't buy the consolation comments of "MMR is same" and "Rank doesn't represent skill", so instead of playing random number generator on win/lose, I simply dodge such games because I am content with losing LP than losing MMR and my mental state.

Don't get frustrated and as you say it is just gambling; keep grinding and over time you will eventually climb higher. Gl hf*[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]*

honestly if you are good enough you can carry 90% of games. Everyone plays by the same rules so if someone is climbing and you are not is because you are not better then the people around you and you are where you are meant to be

You had a gragas support and a fiora that lost hard to a bear somehow, then you picked diana jungle, an assassin who can thrive, but needs solid lane matchups in order to set you up for success, and it looks like you threw a lot of deaths in that game to the enemy, which I'm willing to bet were kill trades, resetting your gold and getting the laners (the ones who are matched up to your teammates) an even bigger lead than they had. I haven't watched gameplay, but the fact that you're getting g4's and s4's in the same game isn't a great sign.

You have a straight up 14% wr mid according to "the site", and honestly your adc game isn't too great. Ekko and Diana are both champs that are stupid strong if ahead, but pretty lackluster if not, and your team comps don't really have many synergies. From what I can tell, you play adc entirely too aggressively judging by your kda's on them, and your midlane is feast or famine. I'd try playing some norms with other midlaners besides Di/Ek/Malz, as they are exclusively be ahead or be dead champs, on top of two of those being incredibly easy to camp as a jungler, with ekko being the only one that is based on how aggressive you play him (which if you're using your dash and shield how I think you are, easy to camp). Granted, your two highest winrates are on those two, but I think that is more an inability in silver/gold for people to understand counterplay and how to not feed once behind.

That is an absolute shitload of ranked games to play, and yeah it may be tilting but the system has you pegged right where you are dude, if you're looking to climb faster you gotta play something besides ranked. as of right now you haven't really improved. Either play some norms with higher elo friends or make a new account to try and get better mmr

You think that’s a mess, try silver 4 with sub 50%wr, you get irons, bronze, and high silvers on the same team. Half the time someone is tilted or trolling. I played with a “high” naught sup yesterday, doesn’t get much worse than that.

100% agree on the one role and 3-5 champs.

For bot I play: Ashe MissFortune Caitlyn Ezreal Kalista . Look to ban Draven PykeEkko . If I can’t dodge and I think I’m being trolled, I’ll pick Cassiopeia .

I’m learning Kaisa Sivir . You can experiment but try to keep it to stuff that you know.

play less and on a more sparse schedule, you get put in a loss spree queue when you have a huge amount of games and/or have a high winrate. its riot's bullshit way of detecting&dealing with boosters. I started playing ranked for the first time ever starting mid September and they put me in a loss spree queue like a week ago since i was spamming one of my mains climbing out of silver with an 80% WR within a week from Iron II. with loss spree queues you get paired up with garbage players, feeders etc until you win a game in the rigged spree queue, and that "proves" youre not boosted and belong in that elo.

I'm convinced that riot games have ringed my matchmaking at this point for some reason I'm finding more bronzes and iron players in my low gold to high sliver games. I can't dodge every game so I'm forced to play and now I fell out of gold to sliver 2, and because of the amount of loses I got MMR has tanked so bad that I lose 20 or more lp each game and only game 13 to 15 lp. I just got to a point where I'm getting 16lp a game. I went one 2 win streaks 6 to 7 games won and I lost 2 games and almost all of my progression is gone. I have been playing for years and I don't think I have ever seen it this bad.

You decided to put yourself out there, but blame it on match making. I'm just going to be completely honest with you. Not in a mean way, or anything like that. But. You're not as good as you might think you are. You're like . . . honestly a silver 1 player. It could be argued that you're a gold 4 player, but it's hard to determine that when you're 50 games negative in the hole. winrate says 49% for sure. But, in order to have a net positive you'd basically have to go 3 wins 1 loss for the entire rest of the season JUST to break even and be around gold 2ish?

Also, I'm just going to put this out here and let everyone decide for themselves what to think of it when you say this, "It's obvious riot rig the matchmaker so it try to force streaks : hey, let's make this player feel good about himself so he keep playing to climb and purchasing skins since he have fun, give him a win streak!"

I don't see anything wrong here. your mmr is low enough to play with silvers. and those silvers mmr have been doing well enough to play with gold 4's. This isn't rocket science. You also went 8-6. 6 deaths is not good. in the second game you died 8 times. thats really bad. You are making mistakes and your teams mistakes is enough for you to lose. you have to improve enough to be able to make up for your teams mistakes. You have to adapt.
