How do you play against a good blitz + burst ADC?
I mean it's impossible. He drags and you die. Simple. Free ELO If you chose to play super defensive, you can't farm. Again Free ELO
So what's the counter to that busted support, if he last picks ?

You want to know how you counter blitz + lucian? By not picking double immobile bot lane...
The boards classic: Get destroyed by champion xyz, go to the boards to complain.
The probleme here is not even blitzcrank. The probleme is, that you blind pick veigar, expecting to not get punished for that pick. Veigar is a super high risk, high reward pick. If you manage to get into the game with him, you get ridiculous ammounts of ap for free by hitting spells or last hitting q, and his cage is an insanely op cc spell for teamfights. But if the enemy pick something that punishes you for your high risk pick, well you are definetly going to have a bad time. A somewhat good pyke leona or nautilus would have done the same thing to you in that game.
It's quite easy.
You can pick a support like morgana/zyra and be reactive with the black shield or pop a plant before blitz land the hook. You can pick a support quite tanky (taric, nautilus, leona, braum) that actually WANTS to get hooked by blitz You can pick a mobile adc like Ez, Vayne, Tristana, Sivir and have a spell that just allow you to dodge the hook
Now ofc if you are playing ashe + brand against blitz/draven, yeah you might want to hug your minions so blitz can't land a hook and you'll fall behind. But every laner has its counter so it's the game.
hard counter lose you the game unless there's a huge gap of skill between you and your opponent. That's how stupid the balance is in this game.
Tahm kench is funny to play against hooks. stay safe, everytime you hear the hook you eat the adc. Here we go BC useless.
As far as i am concerned the entire blitz debate was settled by SKT.
Whenever morg was banned by a team who were known to pick blitz, SKT banned blitz.
Pick someone that wants to be hooked. Alistar/Leona counters blitz. They get a free gap close. Or prioritize a spell shield item.
