His W is a good survivability tool if used well because of its damage reduction component.
And he can deal a significant amount of true damage.
While he could stand for a number buff, he's not missing as much as you claim.

Everything else has some truth to it compared to other Junglers, but this is not. If there is one thing Master Yi has, it is damage. It's just pure damage won't win a game, especially if it's melee range AA damage.

Meep Man3 votesYeah, he is a late game champion, but, unlike Kha'Zix, is not restricted to cool downs late game since he relies on basic attacks. Plus, he can shred through Tanks faster than Kha'Zix due to true damage.

i'm pretty sure khazix just 100-0's a squishy in the blnk of an eye then hops back out not so simple with yi even with a full item build

The current meta is really about snowballing and winning early. Where master yi is not super into that.
If however the game runs late and he's a good player. Master Yi is the best cleaning champion in game. If your team is at least half hp near a fully decked out yi and you don't have 2-3 cc to stop him (provided he doesn't have a morg sup) he will instantly kill your team, as end game build his Alpha strike can do up to 1.3k dmg, and if it kills a champion it has a 1s cooldown.
So.. hes its not the fact he's weak... its the fact hes not meta.

power creep and getting overnerfed historically has made him obsolete
