There is no magic to it. You just play, try to always do well, try not to rage throw games or let that filter into your next game.

But I'll be perfectly honest; it doesnt seem to change no matter what elo you are in. People in Plat/Diamond/Master/etc all complain about the same thing.

I mean the only thing you can REALLY do, is pick pub-stomp champions like Riven/Yasuo/Fizz/Akali/Kassadin, etc and just run over the game solo 1v5. If you are bothered that much by matchmaking thats your only course of action. Pick champs that you can 1v5 on with just a modicum of help from your team. Just the other night my team, including me, was just shitting the bed blaming each other's eyes out, but Kassadin was staying relevant. I landed one 4 man bard ult from behind and he got a Quadra kill off it and ran over the game. This was after about 10 surrenders, nonstop flaming, and feeding left and right. Your best bet is picking those kinds of champions and not pissing away your opportunities. Not chain feeding and going 10/10/10 and then blaming your team when you died so many times.

Simple.

Stop playing the game.

Remain calm. Play what you provably consistently do well with. If your WR over 20 games is not over 55% then move to something else.

Alternatively if you don't think your stand out above your opponents then I would recommend you have a large enough champion pool that you can fix the issues caused by idiots not understanding comp basics.

There's going to be a good amount of RNG due to motherfuckers playing what they like and think they are good at but will have no consideration for teammate or enemy picks. Pretty stupid to OTP when your not breaking 60% but that the mentality a lot of folks have nowadays so one has to account for it.

Ignore advice like PLAY X Y Z. If its not working for you personally its not good for you. MMR, Its a LLN style system built around the concept of a Mean Average performance by individuals. There's 2 ways to make your personal average improve. Add to the upper end which is to say just have more frequent and dramatic good games or to shave away negative performances to bring your overall impact up. (don't first time X Y or Z just cuz you saw some one destroy with it or got dunked by it.) A lot of folks have no clue how to play from behind, and bring this battle royal mentality of OMG NEXT. Which can benefit you if your doing well consistently cuz they will mentally give up when on the enemy team.

Folks will say give up and make a new account if you cant reach X rank as you slow down how fast you climb. Thing is, you can still climb at any given moment. I made an Alt last year, grinded it from B1 to G4 in 50 games. Later on this, my main account which had a few hundred games in its history I went from G4 to P4 in about 40. So don't feel like you have a time limit to climb... plus the games you get dicked randomly by teammates are far more negative on a "fresh" account. The time spent grinding to 30 is just not worth it for any one whos not trying to rely on pure luck and placements to hit gold.

Play what works for you. Alistar Nami Bard Ziggs Swain (old kit) are all champs over the years that helped me climb when I found a meta they thrived in.
