Does getting an assist on a turret or inhibitor count as a kill?

So, if you attack a turret, but a minion or allied champion gets the last hit, will that count as a turret destroyed by you aswell?

Nah, it still says only one person, because its like a kill.... One person gets a kill, others if any get assist. But yes you do get assist points for assisting with the turret..... It just doesnt show

But if you go to the post game screen, would it show that I had destroyed a turret without getting the last hit?

Nope, there is no "turret assists" yet so it wont say that at all. Unless you look at the games "at this time the turret was destroyed and these people were there hitting it"

Technically Riot does track tower assists, but the only place I know that expose them is the Riot API. It being there means there's a chance it'll show up on a website at some point.
