So, QSS....why does it remove ultimate abilites such as warwick, skarner and malz ult? I remember a quote riot stated a year or 2 back (possibly 3) about how its "unfair that it removed ultimate abilities of champs like zed and trundle" but it isnt unfair that these other champs have theirs removed?

Now this brings me to something else....suppression....its literally nothing more then a fancy word for stun....i feel suppression should see a buff, IE preventing champs for using ANYTHING while suppressed as it would bring a whole new element of danger and outplay to this game (and additionally CANCEL abilties mid cast animation) as i feel suppression is currently meh.....especially with how shitty it feels when your playing urgot and someone just qss's your ult when their about to die

I think the reason is that Riot does not like things that are non-counterable at all. I don't know if you remember star guardian mode, but you get eaten by a Cho in that mode? You're dead. Zero counter. Things like that suck and really have the potential to ruin the gameplay in more ways than just making a champion stronger.

That's why QSS provides a way to remove many abilities - they need an item that can be used to counter teams that are heavily dependent on Malz ult, WW ult, etc. Its stats are such that it's not really easy to justify it in many cases at all, but it's there as an option in the game for those cases where it's important.
