Taliyah needs either less damage or less mobility

I think it is getting pretty clear that she is a very powerful champion who has absurd lane pressure as well as map pressure. She can excel in team fights and chunk champion while skirting around the battle with incredible speeds. She has almost as bad of a stickiness issue that ekko had except she can go full damage instead of tank. Also her kit provides a lot of safety for her as well as wave clear with her Q having increased damage to minions. I can't currently think of too many counters to her or champs who at least stand a good chance, maybe Azir or Zed, but the lst is very short.

The problem is mainly her mobility. Her Q s locked in one direction so mobility is needed to an extent. But right now she is too mobile. Landing most skill shots is very difficult against her. Her wall also is a big part of her opness. It is a game changer for ganking. Almost always guaranteeing a kill or a flash at least. And for the power it provides in positioning it also allows a very nice area for her to get her combo off if she can cut you off. Now, yes the ult itself is not a damaging ability, so her kit is a bit overloaded on damage to compensate. But, that might not have been necessary because of how great of an ult it is. Being able to cut off a retreat path entirely, and from a good distance away, is a game changer. So her having assassin level damage on top of that, plus a great combo with CC and low cooldowns for her Q, she has the full package and the extra damage is unnecessary since she can cut off any retreat and force the fight she wanted already.

I see two ways to fix this.

  • Option 1: Lower her damage on her Q and her combo. Most champions are not equipped to handle her poke especially at early levels. And her combo is crippling if done right. If her overall damage was lowered, a few points off her Q or a longer CD, it would be a great start. Or, require her to hit all 5 shots for a reduced CD (even of they hit minions). This way she can keep her damage, but will have to work a bit for it. Also her Q is a small AOE, so maybe making it single target could help. Her WE (EW, do not know the order) combo could have a few points shaved off too. Currently at early levels one combo nearly forces a back every time.

  • Option 2: Lower her mobility. For a very powerful Q and a large AOE combo, her mobility makes dodging a chore, and a big one at that. She has incredible zoning and self peeling abilities as well as an ultimate which makes ganking/roaming almost always end up with her getting a kill, assist or a blown flash. But her ult is not the issue here. It is her laning phase mobility. She can run circles around most champions dodging abilities left and right and from a safe distance. Her Q has a long range (1000 units) so adding incredible mobility on top of it makes her a very oppressive opponent. She can make it around the map very quickly from her passive. So she not only is oppressive in the lane, but in her roaming too (and with her ult up it is a very scary thing not knowing exactly where she is).

This champ is overloaded and they kept buffing the bitch. She has a 2 second cool down waveclear ability, the best roaming ult in the game, insane burst with w and e which is even more absurd on the pbe.

I know but I dont think she needs to be gutted entirely, just softened a bit.
