would ivern make great use of nashors?

ive been thinking about how his kit works, and with how him and his passive damage from w interacts, would nashors be a good core item on him, for offensive uses, though the main reason id be against buying it on him is maybe the fact it costs 3,000 gold, but it seems like itd work well with his main source of damage, granted supports aren't meant to deal a lot of it, itd definitely help him against invades and some people he could probably duel.
