So I looked at the Shyvanna rework and it just makes me want to go try her with ap on-hit.
Am I the only one who sees the potential in this build?
I'm sure everyone will continue to build her the same way as before because no one ever tries anything new until it becomes too popular on youtube and riot guts it.

xxxMadLionxxx1 votesdid you read the rework? the initial hit does less damage but it leave a DOT AOE that does some decent damage. That plus Ryies has huge potential
macthechupacabra1 votesWhile that is true, the DOT is only in dragon form, which means your E will only be really worthwhile 10% of the game. I would agree that RCS would be pretty wicked on shyv though.
Dark Nephthys1 votesI've played Shyvana AP a few times. Played her AP Top against 
and I ended up winning the lane (Though we lost the game due to AP Shyvana falling off a bit hard). The amount of surprise damage she does as AP against a squishy champion is insane lol. I rem just walking up to her Ult on her > E and she would be basically dead, was kind of funny to even see her complain about the damage.
Though as I mentioned, it falls of pretty hard and it's really only good for the initial laning phase or for shock factor, at least right now. I don't know how good she will be with the new rework. I might try the rework AP as well, since I've been a Shyvana main since Season 3.
While AP On-hit is probably better, I'd probably just go for AP Burst with 
+ Death fire touch.

it's a PBE change, it's still not in the game but experimental changes that might come in the next patch or two. You can always go to surrenderat20 (just google it) and you will get all the info about PBE changes, usually what you find there is what will be in the next patch notes (with exceptions ofc)

thecowley1 votesOn topic now. I actually really like the idea of ap Shyvana. The in story idea i have to justify it is her drawing on the arcane power of her fathers blood. After all, "The Dragon comes."

Asayake 5150glow1 votesThat build is a bit squishy imo, you could go crit and do as much damage, with a Titanic on top of it for some tankiness.
