I love how Aatrox got deleted, but Tryndamere is still around

Aatrox was accused of being boring, binary and unfun to play against.

And yet....Tryndamere

Seriously are you kidding me? Tryndamere's kit is....auto attacking, literally thats all he does. Then he presses R to not die. Thats ALL he does. And yet hes still around, in the same annoying, toxic, unfun to play against form.

Meanwhile, Riot and the boards shit on old Aatrox....and yet, apparently its just fine to leave this champion as he is, despite being more basic, more binary and more toxic and super unfun to play against.

His entire kit is auto attack and cheese. THAT IS ALL.

You people...Riot....you all really make me sick. You are perfectly okay with champions like this existing yet you jumped on the hate bandwagon of Aatrox because Riot told you to.

Its sad, it really is, the double standard that exists.

Well, Aatrox was. And so is Tryndamere. Idk where you’ve been that you think people hold him as ok. One of the biggest complaints is his splitpush play pattern and his RNG. He’s had a lot of people asking about work to fix him. It’s just there’s been other stuff people have currently been focusing on lately. Doesn’t mean people suddenly think he’s ok.

Tryndamere is way worse. Riot has favoritism. They don't give a shit about fairness or balance

Tryndamere is one of the original 40 champions. He's been around since 2009. His kit has pretty much not been touched except via nerfs over the years. He got a VU in like 2012, but that was before they started heavily overhauling kits.

Aatrox was released in 2013. At that point, the super binary kits were not really the design anymore, and were being phased out completely. Aatrox had no business having a kit that antiquated when he was released that late into the game's life, which is very likely why the 6300 BE champion was chosen for a more extensive overhaul than an ancient relic like Tryndamere, who's time will come sooner than later. For players looking to pick up what's supposed to be a more modern champion, it looked really bad when Aatrox had a kit that was so poorly designed as it was, so that made him a priority for an overhaul.

But that doesn't mean Tryndamere is acceptable or not a piece of shit - he totally is, and he's one of the more frustrating points of this game. He was the Yasuo before Yasuo. He'll get his just desserts, but absolute hideosities like Dr. Mundo and Mordekaiser need to be overhauled so they look like they fit in this game, instead of like they escaped from the N64.
