Would it be more beneficial for a Vayne to have lifesteal quints and start long sword + pots over dorans + pot since unlike other adcs she rushes BORK over IE?

How come tri-force isn't a good item on Vayne? I have tried it numerous times in bots/normal games (I don't play adc much so I dont do it in ranked) and have found it to be pretty nice item. People have told me because she doesn't have any ap scalings so sheen would be useless but sheen's bonus damage is phsyical.

Everytime I tried it my AA AA Q AA combo would chunk so hard it's crazy. I've only seen one person build this on her before and the guy completely roflstomped us. He had furor enchants + phage passive from tri (yes they stack btw) and was so hard to catch and the sheen proc hurt like hell and the zeal was just icing.

The main issue with Trinity Force isn't that it's bad on Vayne; the problem is that other items are better. Phantom Dancer offers a lot more Attack Speed and Crit Chance and Vayne doesn't really need the additional movement speed for chasing or kiting due to her kit. Trinity Force is also quite expensive, so you could easily afford Phantom Dancer and a Pickaxe for the same price, which lets you get your Last Whisper earlier.

I believe you are probably better off using Doran's Blade, AD Marks, and Attack Speed Quints instead of Lifesteal Quints and Longsword. You are going to be rushing Vampiric Scepter anyways, so you only really need it until your first back. Using Lifesteal Quints and Longsword leave you with less health and attack speed for early trading, while giving you a marginal amount of additional AD and lifesteal.

I'm sucky at adc since I play it once in a blue moon and im not familiar with damage for csing or range or anything like that so I might sound stupid thx for the info tho.

Also would you consider phantom instead of Tri just flat out/overall better or it's more of a prefence on what a person wants or it's just overall better to go PD instead

I would consider Phantom Dancer to be more reliable since it provides higher sustained damage (more attack speed and crit chance), is significantly cheaper (~900g), and has better synergy with her kit (W and the AD from R). Phantom Dancer has higher crit chance and attack speed, which means that it will scale better with AD (from items and R) and crit chance (Infinity Edge) and provides a situationally useful passive.

Vayne has mediocre base AD (most of her innate AD comes from her ultimate) and typically wants to save her Q and E for repositioning and self-peel instead of using them for Spellblade procs. You don't really need the Rage passive either since your Q and passive provide a lot of chasing/kiting potential, especially with her ultimate active.

tri is good on vayne, but there are better items like you can get more crit or more attackspeed

lifesteal quints are shit right now since they only give 1.5 each and you will only receive 10 ad + 4.5 lifesteal +3 pots when you can get 13.75 ad + 3 %lifesteal + 1 pot + 70 hp

The lifesteal quints are BONUS lifesteal. I'm pretty sure you need to have a lifesteal item (dorans) for them to be effective. The lifesteal quints also aren't horrible on ADCs going bork- it's just an odd choice. Normally the runes/masteries are used to make your early game better, because that's the most critical phase of the game for ADCs, but lifesteal quints would really only make your mid-late game stronger.

Lifesteal from runes is treated exactly the same as lifesteal from items. You don't need another lifesteal item to take advantage of lifesteal from runes or masteries.
