Does anyone else thinks AP Ez needs more buffs than the 25 damage to his W on the PBE?

I love Ez new W. It adds more skill and give great feedback when it procs. It gives great Ez player more skill expression and was a huge buff to AD Ez. It even proc murumana now.

The problem is it mean a much larger commitment for AP Ez to proc. Before, his W was AOE and would deal damage instantly. AP Ez had great poke. But now, AP Ez has to actually follow up with an auto or spell to make that damage happen, putting himself in danger and the damage isn't really worth it.

I also feel like his ult has a huge 120 second cooldown through all ranks and can lost up 70% damage through minions. The only thing you gain by ranking his ult up is more damage, the cooldown never gets lower. Its too constricted as AP Ez main damage spell.

I feel that he needs more buffs than the 25 magic damage to his W thats on the PBE.

Does anyone else think AP EZ need more buffs?

I don't think any amount off buffs will fix AP-EZ in a healthy way now. Befor the rework, the aoe from W was a good selling point that gave a reason to go AP rather than AD, same with the more reliable poke gained from it.

Now there is no real destinction, unless you increase his singletarget burst potential to LB levels which would be rather unhealthy, or you compensate the lost aoe with a stronger ult, which also might become rather problematic. The changes to his W just destroyed the very fundation for AP-EZ.

I think if they lower the ult cooldown per rank as well as the damage reduction through minions would be a decent buff. The ult is predictable and easy to miss up close. Making it less position reliant in terms of how many minions it hits with a lower cooldown would be a decent healthy buff I think.

All that would do is makeing double tear builts dominant and also buffing ad-ez, still not much off a reason to go ap. Also, EZs ult CD doesn't scale with levels as it scales massively with items. His ult CD is reduced every time you land a Q, which makes CDR haveing a much higher impact since the reduction is a flat value(1.5sec, which is 1.25% of his base CD, but 2.08% reduction once he has max CDR), and in adition CDR also lowers the Q cd which also lowers it's own CD, so as long as he has targets for his Q, his effective CD at max cdr is ~30% off what it is without CDR. This also means any buffs to the CD can create a scenario where it's spammed over and over again, which combined with less damage reduction per target means he could reach a point where he just Ults down mid every 30sec and kills any minionwave befor it ever gets close to the tower, denying any possibillity of a push, which would be quite toxic to face.

What's this magical risk your talking about when procing W. It's not hard to fire a Q from a very relatively safe distance.

Most people fire W and Q at the same time so it procs together. Normally if you land one, your landing both.

If anything I feel Ezreals from what I've played, is a very safe laner. You can kite and abuse your range all game.

Nope definetly not

Heaven forbid champions have to put themselves in risk. I honestly didn't see anything wrong with the Xerath script that would just sit in fountain and AoE the whole map with Q. /s lol

I get what you are saying, the point I'm making though is that he didn't have to do that before to get his W damage off. Now he has to and the damage done is relatively the same and is now single target instead of AOE. There wasn't any compensation for that. AP Ez simply got nerfed and its not like it was OP or broken.

i would love to see some buffs cuz i love playing ap ez, i think they sould change scaling on his q, or kinda nerf w dmg and let it his 2 people. idk maybe riot wanted to make him only ad and occasionally AP that can kill one person and not whole team like old ez used to do

It's already rediculously strong mid game if you rush item 3089. Altho I feel like his AP late game falls out and feels unrewardive when you go full AP. Unless you take Dark Harvest I guess.

I honestly think he does a little too much damage with W > E max with Electrocute and gunblade.

You'll legitimately one shot someone.

I mean I think it's better for AP Ezreal to actually require some risk.
