Conqueror is a good addition, yet makes me sad

With that new keystone melees are able to deal as much damage as an adc

but why is it sad? because we have to wait 4 seconds to deal damage

while an adc can just frontload his damage and be relevant the moment he starts to attack

Are you sure? I was certain that taking the rune does not stop your abilities, autos and passive/active effects from dealing damage.

I may need to go back and re-read the tooltip though. I am pretty sure your standard spells and attacks still deal plenty of damage before the bonus AD and 20% dmg proc.

"After 4 seconds of combat, you gain Attack damage and true damage.

Damage in those 4 seconds of prep up time is reduced by 100%."

It was in the fine print.

WAIT.

Camille does true damage on 2nd Q.

What if Camille buys IBG, takes Conqueror, then tries to activate Q2 DURING the prep time for Conqueror?

You cannot reduce True damage! Do we nerf Irelia or bring back Fervor of Battle?

Yeah, because a Jax (for example) doesn't deal dmg until the Conqueror procs.

You already got the keystone bruisers were lacking, if you want to cry do it about other topic.

Next week he's going to post that conqueror is too strong and needs to be nerfed.

"i'm going to list a single champion and generalise for everyone"

kek

And even jax is not frontloaded because he needs to stack his passive and guinsoo which takees a lot of fcking time

The conversion to true damage allows us to do ADC levels of damage to tanks. Against squishy targets (aka low armor) our damage is exactly the same, meaning we do not have to wait those four seconds. The bonus AD is low enough that I honestly don't think we need to even bother with it, it's just not worth adjusting our play patterns.

With you on the general sentiment OP, but maybe these edgy angsty posts aren't the way to talk about something.

Unironically claiming that melees do no damage before it procs, being an exaggeration, robs your argument of a lot of its persuasiveness.
