Any Vlad players enjoying his rework besides me?

The past couple of games ive played with him have been enjoyable and consistent in lane against different type of top lane champions. ( ) I've suprisingly found that his damage is satisfying when i use them.

More waveclear (because of E rework)
Clear indicators ( Charged Q and E)
His heal seems healthy ( cant just heal up with minions as quickly like he use to)

Don't know if it was intentional for riot but it seems like more of Vlad's damage is coming from his hp scaling spells (W and E.) Don't get me wrong, he still needs AP to actually benefit from his Q's heal.

From my experience, I would give riot a thumbs up for Vlad's rework in the mage update!

I've been on the boards, and I've seen posts about how bad the reworked Vlad is, i sign in for the first time in this patch, play a game of ranked and get a Vlad top. I thought i should be more optimistic, but deep down i dreaded the fact that this champion was on my team, and what happens? He feeds like balls, despite first blood advantage. Like wtf, if i ever see this champion on my team i'm dodging. Not losing another game because Vlad players, and vlad as a champ just sucks balls.

Um, me ._. I really hate how his new Q works but damn, dat E is so satisfying! And ult heal!!

I find him pretty good. His Q is slightly weaker but the third Q hits like a mac truck. Played him once on live over 30 times on the PBE. I think people just need to get used to him and adjust his build path some. For example, in the past even with his passive you wanted to prioritize AP over HP, just have it mixed in.

now you'll want to get more HP based items sooner because the ratios are much better that way and of course CDR. Abysal, Rylai's Spirit. With just these three items (and i use swifties personally) you'll be doing roughly 220 damage per q (440 or so on the third) and about the same as the third Q on your E.

CDR and HP are even more important on him now than before and AP has dropped a bit on his priority list. Small adjustments, a AP/CDR page and learning how to use his abilities efficiently again and people will see Vlad is fine.

The rework is a huge nerf.

He gained NOTHING in exchange for lower AP ratios, lower reliability on all abilities, lower sustain from attacks (in addition to loss of Spell Vamp). The net result is a loss of DPS (both because of higher cool downs and because of lost damage).

On paper he might be ''strong'' but in practice more than half of your damage isn't available for most of the game (people simply walk away from your highly telegraphed empowered Qs and charged Es). His Ult is also less powerful.

The new Vlad plays like a Battleship in a an age of aircraft carrier warfare.

They loaded his kit with counterplay with no room for Vlad himself to make plays himself.

Most of his damage simply isn't accessible in most TF situations (people walk away from his HIGHLY telegraphed 3rd Qs if it doesn't proc and delete itself at the wrong time... and people can see him charging a blood balloon from a mile away).

vlad's ruined. Permanently.

The changes they made only prove that they didn't consult a single vlad main before installing these changes into the game. Not a single vlad main. Not one. This update makes no effort to accommodate his playstyle, and every developer involved in this rework hasn't had a single instance where they carried as vladimir prior to the rework. His identity was never known by the current Riot staff team, so they were clueless about how to redesign him. Vladimir was sacrificed on a stone slab to summon the 6.9 patch and he'll never be seen in competitive play again.
