With 1 man armies being more and more common anybody expecting yorick more in solo que?

Champs such as Zed, Talon,Xin,Yi etc. all being able to completely dominate a game after a few core items and just being insanely hard to shut down.

I've been thinking yorick might actually start being a good pick (in solo que anyway)

For example, a fed master yi who has sated + rageblade is already a HUGE problem. Now put a morgana shield on that. You have a fed assassin that can shred through anybody in a few hits that is now immune to magic damage and all forms of CC.

It's gonna be difficult but let's say you DO manage to do it.

Comes right back to life and does the same thing only thing is he's already dead. So nobody is gonna wanna focus him they want the people actually alive. Big problem on your hand that overly fed assassin doesn't want to be ignored.

Sure, you have things like zilean but that brings them to life completely and in some cases will do nothing since the enemy team usually just stands on top of that spot and zones everyone away.

I can see "protect the carry" comps arising soon. Yorick being tanky makes a huge bonus to that type of comp.

Well difference between Yi and yorick is that Yi has a kit designed to synergize with the current items and shred. Yorick is not. They will fulfill different roles. Yi is meant to go in and shred as much as possible before going down. Yorick is meant to soak as much damage as possible and keep the fight a 5v5 even if an assassin does his job correctly. I wouldn't put Yorick under a one man army status.

The poster is saying, Yorick with those champs on the same team. Nothing is scarier than oilling that rampant Yi and it comes back again, Zilean does something similar but he is so squishy that he often has to either use his ukt on himself so he can keep bomb comboing, or flash into his death to ult the Yi. Yorick on the other hand can actually Ult Yi before he goes in have the clone do some damage on the fringe of battle and watch Yi do his thing while still attacking anyone who comes near the team's marksman.

I have known this for awhile, and the better players understand it as well. Yorick is stomping in other parts of the world where the understanding of his immense strength in the current meta is. Alas, none of it will matter at some point because he will get his rework sometime this year and then be a different champion basically. Though they may yet surprise us by keeping his feel about the same.
