Azir is trash after riot latest nerf.
Even though, before, he was not even OP. His lack of initial damage makes easy now to just pass away by his soldiers in laning phase and punish azir for using his Q offensively

He wasn't even OP before the nerf. If riot was going to heavily nerf his burst, she should have increased his dps so
The knock up removal was harsh. Sure in competitive play it's deadly, but in Solo Q it's necessary.
Think Lee Sin.

It was kind of unecessary. But just the removal was already a lot. Than riot made sure to nerf everything else. I was one of the people who hated azir a lot, but this latest nerf was too much
Yay I'm not losing 50% hp because someone just q aa without counterplay
With the way people play him, they had to change his kit and nerf him more. I am completely sure that when they made Azir's kit, they did not anticipate the Shurima shuffle being as strong as it is. The pro's are the ones who can exploit that more than anybody else, especially with his ultimate. He was long range poke with mediocre mobility before, but now he is long range poke and very good mobility with the mechanics within his kit. I love Azir, he's the reason I started playing this game, but his kit is insane. Even with these nerfs, he will still get played 100% Pick/Ban at Worlds. More or less, champions like Azir are played for their utility, not their damage. This is why Rek'Sai has been nerfed into the ground. The utility in her kit is much better than other Junglers, so you gotta lose something to try to balance it out.
Just played Azir, for the first time, and Azir is certainlyl not viable, although it makes sense that a pro-team would know how to exploit his utility into their composition, but Azir seems to be mega-squishy in addition to dealing very little damage with his recommended build-paths, although I've seen some people do decently by going lots of attack-speed runes on him, and other than that, Azir definitely cannot carry by himself unless the opponents are brainless (and even then I still lost against brainless Intermediate-bots when I tried to 1v5 them in Custom-Mode).
