Dark Harvest is Breaking ARAM and Needs to Be Disabled

Not much needs to be said, its a free 5k+ bonus damage per game to any champ that can half ass synergize with a sheen proc.... And the people taking it arent even normal sheen buyers because its free...

Can your champ execute a sheen proc at least 4 times a game? If so, take dark harvest. Wayyyy too many champs synergize with this at the loss of comet or aery.............

I have a lot of fun with this rune, but one shotting the entire team on yi over and over again like its beginner bots isnt fun for anyone.

The mode has always been meh in the way of balance, but as of now its broken.

In no way should my keystone be doing 6-7k damage alone in 20 minutes, its insane.

they buffed him recently, and with dark harvest its laughable right now.

It needs to have a range/melee split on ARAM and get toned down massively. It's fun being attacked for half your HP from a mile away.

I played MF, and bounced her Q off a Heimer turret and oneshot someone from full HP. All I had was a Serrated Dirk. It's worse on champs like Ezreal because he can repeatedly get DH procs off as he gains stacks.

yeah i run it on mf as well, theres a pretty solid list of champs who can abuse this.

Except that dps is a horrible metric to measure burst damage by.........

and no not really, ravenous is great and all, unless you get one shot by dark harvest. It doesnt compare.

You can only get 1 shot if you're squishy, and that means either you let some assassin or bruiser dive you, or you got hit by one of the few ranged abilities can can proc dark harvest. If you wanna argue that specific champions are OP with dark harvest you might have an actually valid argument but blanket saying it's the best on everyone is completely false.

If you're against a team with tanks running aftershock dark harvest gets shrugged off like its nothing. It supplements your burst against a dude with like 15k EHP lmao good luck with that. If you can't snowball the teamfight you can't collect more souls so you can't burst everyone. Basically it's only especially strong against fragile team comps.

The best team comps have 2 tanks, and some mix of mages and ADCs in the back, with strong poke, so if you have Ezreal or MF you want DH and if you have mages you want comet. And you will shit on any team comp using 5x DH.

Given how insanely strong poke is right now I find your constant bitching about DH really misguided.

if you think im actually reccomending running dark harvest on 5x champions no matter what youre a fool. What im saying is when dark harvest works, it works far too well. And we're talking aram here, you act as if squishy comps arent seen extremely frequently. And i mean just look at the champs who have been the highest winrate in aram for 4 seasons

Ziggs Sona Both champions who are weak to the tank, especially sona, who see extreme winrates in aram. (70%) Just because tanks exist doesnt mean certain things arent op.

No matter how catty you get about it, dark harvest hits too hard on the users that synergize well with it, and too many champs synergize well with it.

Of course it works extremely well in the right situation. I think it's a good thing because generally it favors melee champions who have trouble against all the poke and because poke in general is also stronger with comet.

There are a few really broken abuse cases of DH but it would be more appropriate to get champ specific nerfs to ARAM for that. But if they're gonna do that they should hit other champs as well, Kog comes to mind. He's insanely broken no matter which runes he has.
