For everyone who complains about meta-slaves picking "OP" champions

OyddAWqJ5r··15 votes·964 views

They pick meta champions for a reason. There's a reason they are called OP. Your pride and self-restriction to not do so yourself is nothing but your own disadvantage.

Complaining won't solve anything and noone is gonna follow your idealistic version of the game. Not saying you have to too but if you wanna win then either get better at what you do or do what they do whatever you gotta do to win.

As a consistently non-meta player myself since season 1 I only have one word for you all.

Adapt.

This is true.

While I have nothing against those who exploit FotM picks, I myself end up abandoning old mains just as soon as they become too popular. I just can't help it, I completely lose interest.

Same. Used to main Hecarim top in S2 but when it became an actual thing in S3 I slowly stopped doing it.

Was thinking about this pick the other day. I know he went full jungle a little while back because he was so strong there, but is Hec top really a bad pick now? I feel like it would work again

I'd say he still is. Reason being one of his major advantages, the ability to pass through minions, was removed.

Other than that we have Q nerfs since then and overall much stronger other top laners have shown up (Juggernauts weren't really in full swing then either).

You can probably still do it in some matchups but he has a clear disadvantage in a ton of others.

Oh also Keystone's haven't been the most friendly addition for him. Everyone else got way more benefit out of it than him.

It gets kinda discouraging to play a champ when you have to fight someone over that champ that you've been playing forever and suddenly becomes meta. I remember post jugg update Darius and how impossible it was to play him, because he was banned almost every game, and if he wasn't someone else would auto-lock him, despite everything I would say. anyway i agree with u... but Cho bs is f*cking ugly. Riot should already addressed this bs. I never care about meta, cause my pick (MonkeyKing ) isn't meta. U just need to adapt ur playstyle and build for any games, and this dosn't change.

Not only is your post based on broad generalization and fallacy, it also showcases your own seemingly missing ability of reflection. OP champions ruin the game for everyone but the person who's playing said champ. Nothing fun or good about that. Just because you have zero standards doesn't mean other people do as well.

I think most complaints aren't direct results from meta, its more bullshit things like some skillshots hitboxes, some champions designs, and anything inbetween.

most of the time op champ arent fun to play with or against . This is why ppl hate meta-slave. Ppl want to play champ who feel good to play whos rewarding in skill and wooh and wahhhh and im this type . If you want to win that much why arent you already challenger with your meta pick ?OH wait because the game doesnt involve only the champion but a brain teheee . [slayer-jinx-catface]

Meta champs are those champs who are most likely to win the game. People play to win the game. I don't see why it's so hard for people to grasp.

Playing to improve and playing to win are two very very VERY different things.

champion meta is a repeating cycle... tanks, bruisers, atk spd adcs,... bla bla bla i think riot is doing this so every champ is equally played

I play to have fun. I don't understand why anyone feels the need to tryhard in norms.
