How was Wukong so completely broken, when talon exists ?

I don't get it. Everyone was complaining about wukongs "uncounterable" burst, when and if he does it, he has no escape, most of the time in teamfights, it's a tradeoff when he kills someone, he dies. But talon has 6 times bigger playrate than wukong and does the same thing at one shotting, does it even faster AND he has as many escapes as he wants. If you're near a wall, you won't catch him. And talon has a good early game, how many times you heard "enemy first blood" lvl 2 talon. Wukong can't do shit pre lvl 3 and even then, that combo is on a cd of 15 secs. But wukong was the problem ? Yeah, ok.

I mean if you want to discount the fact that he has the burst of Talon on top of one of the strongest hard CC in the game, I mean sure.

Once Talon gets to his target, you can argue he's quite binary like Wukong. Thing with Talon is that he has a more counterable approach pattern than Wukong, especially in lane. Also Talon's W can be dodged in early laning, which decreases his effectiveness by quite a bit. Honestly Talon is more healthy since he has more options and somewhat more counterplay.

Oh and don't forget Wukong has AoE hard CC, which makes him a way more powerful teamfighter. If Wukong did oneshot people as quickly as Talon, he would be way less healthy.
