What I think we can expect from this patch TLDR patch notes
-MAGES LOTS OF THEM Why- Mage items are now cheaper, they got cool new tools to work with and every single mage in the game has received some type of buff, tweek, or soft rework to improve them
-Assassins getting shat on, this includes Zed Why-Mages have better wave clear, will oppress them with it in lane, and now can build Zhonyas way easier to block out major ults
-Dragon is now a heavy focus Why- Every dragon buff is now more significant and gives major changes that heavily effect your entire team
-30 mins is now stressful as fuck Why- You thought worrying about the enemy team taking baron under your nose was stressful? Boy now you need to think about Elder dragon which is debate worse than Baron! Better fucking ward for the life of you this patch.
-People have no choice to ward Rift Herald Why-With it now being a one time spawn perma buff for the first 20 mins, you absolutely can not risk trading it, this will now be a buff that starts skirmishes in order to either take, steal or prevent.
-More Late game hyper carry ADCS Why-For it is the most reliable way to make those annoying mages go boom.
-Quad threat comps are back Why? For frankly not many tanks are built to handle mages, so you can expect less tanky top laners in trade for more AP top laners and Bruiser top laners like Irelia.
-Goodbye Armor tanks Hello Mundo and Sion Why? For Health tanks are the tanks best equipped for mages
Things that will remain the same?
-Marksman Junglers are still God tier Why-They simply bring a lot to the team in terms of dps and utility
-Engage supports are still very meta Why-For when everyone on your team is playing a carry someone has to play the tank role/engage. But in all honesty support classes simply have better tank options than top laners do, mainly for all tanks can be a support but not all tanks can be a top laner.
