Presence of mind reduces karthus ult cd by 20 sec for each kill/assist in early game

karthus already doesn't see much play b/c he's a farm heavy champ until late game then press R at the right time. I mean this way he sees some play and he's really not that abusive until he has a rylais where he can indefinitely kite Q you if ahead but at the same time he should do more damage than syndra's Q as Syndra's Q is for setup of Es stun and Rs and to do the >TRUE< damage portion of W. Karthus' damage is Q primarily and E if you face check him.
If you're that worried about his Qs in trades then either A) Play a champ w/ a longer hit range B) stun him and all in the squishy dude C) buy boots to just walk out of the Q D) Ban him before game E) MR (aka adaptive helm) As a syndra main (plus you referenced syndra) mid game the karthus would get stomped w/ a Q, E , W, then ult to the face and I walk back to base never near him for retaliation. Just watch out for that pesky W wall and don't miss your stun if he tries to make a play.
Yeah, seems like it. 54.3% win rate is nothing to scoff at.
i'd say his power has been more shifted into his ult and q with the changes of pom and mana flow band due to the mana flow rewarding him for harassing with his q more and less cd on his ult for assist for the trade of non consequential e time.
He's a very fun mid lane champ, but he still loses to anything that is played in meta.
Survive until late game and you'll be useful though just like a veigar support.
